History

Established in 1959.

Our company opened in the Houston area by the third generation of flag-​makers who have been serving companies across the United States since the 1950’s. At Texas Flag and Banner Company we work hard to maintain top quality and to give our customers the service they deserve. We are a full service team and not only manufacture most of our own products, but also offer installation, and service as well.

Meet the Manager

Herb E.

Manager

Herb Engelhardt is the grandson of Fred Engelhardt, who started the Engelhardt family in the flag and banner business in the 1950’s. Herb has worked with his father Don Engelhardt and other family members in the flag and banner business most of his life with the exception of military service in the U.S. Army and a few years in the automobile industry. Herb has fond memories of assisting his father installing car lot flag and banner displays from an early age and has worked in every aspect of the business in the subsequent years. He experience includes graphic design, manufacturing, sales & marketing, installation, and management. He has been quoted saying, «I was borne into this business, this is what I do and I wouldn’t want to do anything else.»
