I don’t recommend going to the health clinic here. The store part is fine but the pharmacy and clinic were chaotic. In particular, I checked in on a kiosk and no one acknowledged me. Nearly an hour later, they helped a walk-in patient who arrived after me and when I questioned this I still wasn’t assisted. I left, after waiting an hour, without being seen. During my hour wait, I observed the curt behavior of those working in the pharmacy as they assisted various customers. Writing this after checking in with a kind human being who acknowledged at a nearby urgent care clinic. I blame myself for attempting to get medical care at a large chain pharmacy in the first place. This drug store was fine as a drug store but go elsewhere for healthcare.

From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted by the person at the register. I came to renew my TB shot at the Take Care Clinic, which is located at the back corner of the store. You sign in at the kiosk, and it tells you how many people are before you. It went by pretty fast. Besides the family nurse practitioner, there’s a medical assistant who tells you to fill out the forms you need. It’s really helpful, so you’re not just sitting there. The family nurse practitioner, Ms. Hazel was super nice. Even though I was just getting a skin test, which takes less than 5 mins., she took the time to get to know me. She asked me if I was a health care professional. I told her that I was in grad school studying to be an occupational therapist. She told me that was a great profession and wished me all the best. My school insurance with Blue Cross Blue Shield also didn’t cover the whole cost of the test, which was only $ 28. I think I had to pay a little over $ 5, but she waived it and told me that she’s not going to make me pay that. If you’re sick or need any immunizations or tests, I would go to this location because Ms. Hazel is the best! I’ve had my flu shot done here(by the pharmacy), and I barely even felt the injection. I must say, though, that I prefer immunizations over the TB skin test. Haha. As I was leaving, I was greeted again by someone in the make-up department. It just made my morning better, especially after being stuck by a needle.

I came to Walgreens today to visit their clinic because I had to get A TB test and a Flu shot for my new job working in a hospital. It took over an hour there were 6 people in front of me and only 5 chairs. I had to stand and walk around the store until seats opened up. I had my husband and Daughter with me so this was Aggravating. But I wanted him there to hold my hand as Im still nervous about needles. The staff was nice and helpful but I found out they Were out of Flu shots after I signed In even tho I just called before I came … So couldn’t get the flu shot… Eh the Tb test was $ 28 and the Flu shot is 31.99

This is the Walgreens I use whenever I need a prescription or some quick medical items. It is always open and the staff is very friendly. There is a drive thru to drop off prescriptions and pick up, which is a plus when you or a loved one is sick. Our doctors e-script so they are usually ready to pick up within an hour and we don’t have to wait. They have a pretty big selection of holiday items as well depending on which holiday it is. The lines at the drive thru can get pretty long at times, but if that is the case I usually just go inside and pick up. There is also a clinic at this location for those that do not have a primary physician.
