Established in 2002.

When friends called considering building a new home, I asked if they weren’t just needing help decorating the home they had built just a few years earlier. Their home launched DecorXpectations; I redesigned the Great Room, Kitchen, Dining, Living & Master Suite and they are still in that home today! Then their neighbor called and DecorXpectations has been decorating homes and small businesses since.

Business Owner

I grew up decorating! My mother would decide to wallpaper a ceiling or tear out and lay a new floor and my sisters & I were her labor. I decorated my bedroom in a huge floral paper, red shag carpet and a velour bedspread; don’t judge, it was the 70’s! My mother also taught us to sew and I’ve never been without a sewing machine since.

When I went to college, I chose to study Fashion. Then our first child came along and I came home to raise our family, always keeping a hand in design sewing window treatments, learning to hang wallpaper, painting… whatever it took to decorate our homes.

I also loved helping friends and the churches I attended with their decorating needs. So, it was a natural transition when friends needed help to love their home that I had the knowledge and experience to help them decorate it.

I am so blessed to meet new people, help them ‘start with what they have & make it what they want’!
