I seem to stop in every time I am at Zion to check out the rock selection. Have a really awesome selection of rocks at reasonable prices. I bought a Utah rock/stone, and saw the same thing at another store priced 3x the amount. The have a ton more to look at inside too. My sister bought copper ring she loves. I have brought my dog here previously, and the owner gave him a treat(love dog friendly places). This visit the owner had his dog in there, and I played with it a little. Will more than likely be back during my next Zion visit.

Saw a table outside with big jars filled with stuff. Sign said sluice box. When I went in I ask the owner(I remember him from last time). Everything I asked he would answer back in a question. I said so it’s a surprise what you get inside? He answered«can you see in it?» Like a wise ass. I said no so he answers ‚” well it’s a surprise then” DUH! wow getting blasting just walking around Springdale checking out the shops. So I asked him if there was any gold in there.lol. he said«For $ 20???»” I said«you told me it’s a surprise » Then precedes to bad mouth me to the other tourist in the store. I actually bought something in there last year and was talking with him. Quite an experience.

Stumble upon this place while walking down the street of Springdale. More window shopping than anything. The store had a nice assortment of unpolished rocks that you can purchase by the pound. Inside there are also a ton of nice polished rocks and rock sculptures that you can take home for souvenirs(however they did seem a bit pricey to me). Shop keeper is friendly and is knowledgeable about the rocks in the area.

Great place to buy both raw and polished stone! Great selection, friendly service and beautiful stones. The service is what made this place exceptional though… Both Chuck and Taylor were informative, knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks guys! P.S: my wife never remembers anyone’s name, but she remembered Chuck because he was so helpful. Well done!

Awesome rock shop with a great staff who patiently answered all my questions. The selection of fossils, minerals, etc. is nice; there’s also some neat jewelry. I ended up getting some trilobites because I think they’re cool, but I was tempted by quite a few things.

Cool rock shop with good prices. Noticed that there were a lot of imports, though. There were some really interesting dinosour fossils, including ones with teeth. Never saw those for sale before. They also have a jewelry section, for those who want something more. For the most part, its quality material. Just make sure you know what you are getting.

Stopped in a few days ago and bought several sandstone sculptures. Then found the exact same item for 30% less. The owner refused a return or price match. Be sure to check around before you buy.
