Very prompt & courteous.
At first I was skeptical of the dispatcher asking to text the information, but he called back to check in, confirmed via text the time, location, description of taxi picking me up, and price quote (upon request). The driver then called to confirm my pick up later that evening. I asked him to arrive at 4:45am, he text when he was on his way, arrived early (which is fine with me as far as airport travel goes), then quickly and safely took me to the airport (in silence which is nice that early in the morning).
Car was clean & smoke free.
Price was reasonable.

Arrived promptly. He was so sweet! Very cautious driver, wouldn’t leave until I put my seat belt on. A little slower than the speed limit but that was cool, I was not in a hurry. We talked about old cars. Very relaxing ride. Reasonable price.

Came earlier than scheduled, was the coolest dude ever. We had a fun candid conversation in the car, he was cheaper than the ride we took to the bar, and he was so excited that we find him on Unilocal!You were really cool, man!

I called this service specifically because of the Unilocal reviews and disappointed. The driver put out his cigarette in the ashtray on his dashboard… the cab reeked of smoke. I was late to a meeting so should have, but didn’t, get out and wait for another cab. The driver was very friendly, but the smoke was gross.

World Peace taxi was a great experience, really enjoyed my cab ride.
Jim’s a very chill guy and clearly cares about his customers. He arrives quickly, has great conversation skills and knows what he’s doing. Professional but still personable.

I called Gracious Cab to arrange for them to pick me up from Amtrak when my train came in. My train was 5 – 10 minutes late and there were other cabs there, even one from Gracious, but mine still was not there. A cab from World Peace was there looking for a fare so I went with them. Clearly, they are more interested in having customers.

World Peace Taxi was the service called for me by my Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott in Springfield, IL. I was stuck downtown in Springfield and the Desk Attendant at the Marriott said, «Okay let me call you a reliable service.» Because I didn’t know any in Springfield. The Desk Attendant called me back and said World Peace Taxi would be there to get me in twelve minutes. They would charge $ 13 – 14.00 bucks to get me back to the hotel. World Peace was there in 12 minutes, it cost me $ 13.00 dollars, the ride was pleasant, the cab did not smell. The driver was lovely, we chatted about this and that and I asked for a morning pickup at 7:30, and the next driver was waiting outside my hotel for me when I got down at 7:25am. Excellent service. Use these gentlemen. They are great.

On time, polite, car didn’t smell like smoke; although he does smoke apparently not in the car though. overall a much better ride than anything I’ve gotten from the major cab co. in SPI.

How’d ya come up with the name «World Peace Taxi»?
«Awe…uh…the boss is just an old hippie. A Vet, too. Want his card?»
«Sure. Thanks.»
