Agree with other posters. The help is what sets them apart. Some places seem grumpy that you’ve disturbed them or that you’re unfamiliar with what you’re renting.
They have pretty much anything a DIY homeowner could need.

Falls Church, VA
This is, by far, the nicest and most helpful tool rental place I’ve ever patronized. I chose American initially because they had the cheapest price for the tool I needed — come to find out the service was excellent, too.
I don’t know why but tool rental shops often seem to have surly attitudes (e.g Ace). American Rental is a wonderful exception to that rule.
