History

Established in 1991.

AmeriSpec Home Inspection Service opened in 1991 to perform home inspections for home buyers and home sellers. Dana Strumpher started working for them in 1992, and along with his wife Marsha, purchased the business in 1995. Dana and Marsha became pioneers in the home inspection industry. Many things have changed since then. Inspections now take between 3 – 4 hours, are more detailed and are performed with field computers using state of the art inspection software. Inspection Reports are now color prioritized, include digital photos and clipart and are custom built for each home inspected. Dana is a Certified ASHI Inspector, Member #115 181, an Illinois Licensed Home Inspector, License #450.2, a Board Member on the Illinois Home Inspector Licensing Board, and a Home Inspector Instructor. You can rest assured you’ll get an non-​biased «state of the art inspection». All inspection requests and questions will be answered by the Business Manager, Marsha Strumpher.

Business Co-​Owner and General Manager. Marsha is Director of Sales, Marketing and overall business operations. She conducts all seminars for Home Buyers/​Sellers on the aspects of home inspections. She oversees all office operations, bookkeeping, scheduling of inspections and delivery of inspection reports. If there is a question regarding scheduling, pricing or any other office matter, she is the one to talk to. Marsha is an affiliate member of the Capitol Area Association of Realtors (CAAR).
