So sad that this place closed down. They were the best bagels in the area. Fast, fresh, and run by a friendly family.

I’m rating the Bagel Bin 5 stars because they have the best bagels within an hour’s drive of my house in Drexel Hill. However, I regret to say that they closed their store on July 27, 2012 because the landlord wants a different tenant in their store. I happened to go in that day and according to the owner, they are looking for another location somewhere in DelCo but as of closing day they did not have anything lined up. Local folks should watch the DelCo Times for an announcement once they find a location. I was disappointed that they disconnected the phone number(rather than forwarding it to a recording) so you can’t simply call to find out a status.

Going through my reviews and I see that this place needs an upgrade. After many more experiences here, I can give them the 5th star with confidence! I’ve been a regular here since they opened. In fact, I make this my regular Friday stop on the way into work. By far, these are the best bagels in Delco. They beat local competitors such as the Bagel Factory and Manhattan Bagel by far. I’ll give you this tip. If it is my turn to bring breakfast to work, I stop here and buy up their French Toast bagels, and their apple cinnamon cream cheese. I then become the most popular person at work. In fact, work has coined a code term for these as «the good bagels». As in, «Hey Steve, I think it’s about time we get a round of those good bagels!» If you haven’t tried that combo yet, try it and you will thank me. You also can’t beat the deal. Free coffee with the breakfast sandwiches during the week keeps the price more reasonable than the competition. And I’ve always enjoyed their seasonal blends of coffee. They seem to have a knack for choosing the perfect one. if I had any complaint at all, I wish… no, I really wish they could get a grill in here. If I could get eggs, bacon, and cheese fresh off of a hot grill on one of these bagels I would be in heaven. I do suspect that space considerations have prevented that. But, they make up for the fact that they have to microwave the sandwich ingredients by serving up a very hearty amount of those ingredients. They pile the eggs and bacon high. This goes to prove that you can pretty much solve any problem you have with more bacon. But in the end, the bagels win my heart. I used to be a regular fan of their sesame bagels, but a recent switch to the egg bagels on my sandwich made the experience that much better. Also, I’ve found that the chocolate chip bagels with the strawberry cream cheese are a powerful combo as well. Once again, closest thing to a NY bagel I’ve had outside of NY.

The bagels and coffee(especially seasonal blends) are consistently good, and the service has definitely improved over the years. I really enjoy this place.

I eat a lot of bagels. I’ve been all around DelCo looking for bagels and these are the best in the area. Love the veggie cream cheese and bagel sandwiches. The staff is great and quick.

One of the best bagel places in this area. Growing up in North Jersey and being used to real NY style bagels, this is one of the only places that comes close.

Stopped here for coffee and discovered a great combo — the bagel was toasted, not overly chewy and fit very well with eggs, bacon, and cheese. They were pretty liberal with the bacon, which was a bit oily but for the price and quality — i’d come back to this place again

Friendly service and awesome bagels! I used to stop here several mornings per week when I lived in the area. I’ve also ordered their salads, and they are awesome! Especially the strawberry and spinach salad.

I don’t think you’re finding a better bagel around these parts. I picked up a few breakfast sandwiches from here for my office«breakfast club.» I couldn’t have been happier with the establishment and the quality of the food. This place makes a mean bagel. I was very happy with my taylor ham, egg and cheese on everything. My co-workers also raved about their sandwiches which were other varieties of egg and cheese on different bagels(plain, toasted sesame). Free coffee during the week if you get a bagel. The place is very clean and open early just like a bagel place should be. I think I’ll be a regular.

Really good breakfast sandwiches! I was impressed with the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. The coffee was lackluster: a couple of pots on heaters and a «cappuccino» machine with the pre-mix dispensers. Coffee is self-serve and tasted like standard diner coffee. All in all a good place for a bite on the go. The prices were reasonable as well.

I stopped in, famished after a shopping trip. All the employees were extremely friendly and helpful, greeting me as I walked in and asking if they could get me anything. Maybe I’m just used to being ignored in a long queue and then being given«the privilege» of placing my order(plenty of places in Philly). Anyhow they have a huge variety of bagels and I didn’t look too closely but I heard someone ordering a wrap so I think they have lunch stuff too. An employee was wrapping muffins for a catering order so they must do that as well. You can take out or eat in. The inside is typical bagel-place décor but it is clean and there is a big window in front with a counter against it you can sit at. Bagels are a rare treat for me so I really relish it when I get one. I got a toasted bagel with cream cheese and it was both delish and ready in no time. They also have tea and coffee. Overall, a very positive bagel experience. I heard an employee inquiring about a customer’s holiday as if they are a regular, which adds to my feeling of it being a local favorite. Definitely a place to check out if you’re in the area and are hungry for bagels/coffee/sandwich food from polite and friendly employees.
