Expensive and mediocre food. The cold cuts are not boar’s head and their sauce tastes like jarred sauce. A whole sub is close to $ 20.00 for non-quality meat.

Good quality Italian deli. They have quite a nice variety of hot and cold prepared food-the arancini, both meat and cheese stuffed, always hit the spot. Yes, ‘pasta fazool’ is always on the soup menu. Not many places will cook you up a pepper and egg sandwich, and they make a terrific one. The pizza is ordinary, though. Adequate on site parking, and street parking is always available. Very personable and well trained staff.

Pizza not the best, hot food bar dried out, counter people need to sharpen English skills, expensive on most items, and a little pushy

What happened to Cioffi’s? Used to be a very good sandwich shop but now it’s just an over priced dominos! Bought cheese steak sandwiches. They were dry and over cooked. The sandwiches were mostly bread with a little bit of cheese and 2 slices of thin steak. NOTRECOMMENDED! My husband ordered stuffed shells. The portion size was tiny(5 small shells). It came with a slice of stale Italian bread! Also not recommended! We ordered a Margherita pizza with eggplant and ricotta While the pizza was pretty good it was overlooked and I didn’t taste any olive oil. It cost us $ 23.90 plus tax for the pizza! All totaled the order for 2 sandwiches, 1 stuffed shells and a pizza cost us $ 65.00 plus tax, and a online order fee, delivery fee, and tip. I have been going to Cioffi’s since it opened and Jerrys father ran it. Not doing a good job Jerry. Your fired!!!

Really expensive, and while the food was a huge portion, it was pretty bad. Got a tin of Baked Ziti & chicken parm from the steam trays, and was charged $ 20 for it! The baked ziti was so overcooked it was softer than baby food, and the chicken was tough, rubbery and overcooked. As I was ordering, I even asked«How much will this be?» and was told«Oh, I don’t know, I don’t do pricing.» When the guy finally rang up my order and saw my shock over the $ 20 charge, his response was«Oh, first time here?» and shrugged. Yes, it was, stereotype pizza guy, and also my last. Plenty of better places in the area, for sure.

I have to admit the food is good but I can’t get past the terrible service. I almost feel like I’m bothering these people when I order from them! I’m going to find another place around here where they value the customers! Adiós amigo.

We work in Kenilworth and this my favorite lunch destination. The staff is nice. The place is immaculate, nice tables outside and the food always fresh never disappoint. I have had pasta salads, soups and sandwiches. I am very picky when it comes to food and I can say this food is always fresh and good.

Nice neighborhood spot. The food’s good quality & comes in good portions. Normally I go for the cannoli or to get a slice of pizza, but I tried their eggplant parm today and liked it a lot. People are always going in and out so I’m sure the food’s consistent. The staff is extremely friendly too which is always a bonus. And they do the legit thing by filling the cannoli made to order.

This is an above average Pizzeria and decent deli. I usually come here for lunch when I feel I can have a cheat day and get a pizza or Italian sub. I usually order a whole size sub and have half for lunch and take the other half for dinner. There’s also a hot counter for the meatballs, parms, and baked zitis. There’s not that much seating inside but there’s 5 square tables outside to dine outside. The owner is very cool and friendly. I like him because he likes Rutgers Football more than me. If he didn’t like RU football than I would have written he’s just another ‘Sopranos Punch line’.

I was born and raised in New York City so I was practically raised on pizza. It is my favorite food. So when I moved to New Jersey I thought I would never find a slice as good as the ones I would have in NYC. All of that changed when I found Cioffis. The crust was crisp, the flavors were amazing and the staff made me feel like I was visiting family. If I could I would live solely on their pizza for the rest of my life.

Pizza is ok, not great. I am particularly not a fan of their salads due to the generous amount of mayo, they are so soupy… yikes! On the other hand, their meatballs are simply the best around, all of their pasta dishes are delicious. I could eat their pasta sauce/gravy by itself, it is amazing. Their sandwiches are the best, they are generous with their meats, and the aged provolone is mouth-watering. The staff is very accommodating with special requests, as long as they are not too busy.

By far the best Italian deli in the area! The paninis are to die for! All the food I’ve had here is great, actually, and the owner is super friendly. He always makes you feel at home. I gave 4 stars only because they are a bit pricey for a deli and some of the employees are hard to communicate with. Other than that this is one of my favorite lunch spots.

Love that you can order online! Nice little pizzeria/deli in the area. Ordered a tuna sub with a side of fries. Tuna sandwich was good, not the best I’ve had but was pretty good. Loved the fries! They were steak fries with sea salt and pepper! Yummy!

Good deli with inconsistent and very expensive prices. The owners seem to price dishes on a random basis. I was charged three prices for the same sandwich in a two week period. Food is good but not nearly as good as the Mozarella factory nearby.

Mixed review here. I need to go back and try it again to be sure. I had 2 slices of Pizza one was plain and the other was with chicken… The plain slice I liked, it was’t thick no too oily and it tasted good… The chicken on the other hand greasy thick and did not taste good at all. But I don’t think I should judge this place just yet. I’ll be going back to give it a 2nd try.

This is my favorite pizza and deli place by far to come to. From the minute I walked in I couldn’t decide whether i wanted pizza, hot sandwich, entrée or just a bowl of comforting soup. Everything looks and smells so good it was hard to make a choice. Cioffi’s make all kinds of interesting pizzas from the standard cheese and pepperoni, or Sicilian to my favorites the vegetable with tomato, onion, mushroom, eggplant with pesto. There is a wide assortment of(not on the menu but please request the buffalo chicken!)They make amazing deli sandwiches freshly prepared to order any way your heart desires. Don’t get me started on the hot subs! They also make all kinds of wonderful salads, and delicious rice balls. Their cold seafood salad with calamari, shrimp, fennel and veggies is outstanding. Their macaroni salad is addicting! Its gotta be the parm cheese they add to it. There is some seating inside, and some tables outsides too. They have free parking and they do great catering for office or parties. The owner Jerry Cioffi is a doll. He makes it a point to meet and greet everyone who walks in when he’s not too busy. This truly is a well run family business done old school. You can definitely feel the love. Stop in and try a slice or two.

This local Springfield Italian deli is clean, well lit, and excellently managed. They do a great job on any Italian sandwich. Side salads are all spot on. The dinners are very good and the pizza is good but not my local favorite. I always try to visit this place at least once a week.
