History

Established in 1941.

Founded as Springfield, Ohio’s first electric drain cleaning service by Peter Guinan and passed through 4 generations of sons to Mike Hixon in 1980. Mike operated under Mike Hixon Sewer and Drain Cleaning until his passing in 2006. In August 2013 Mike’s son Danny Hixon reopened the family business under Hixon Consultants LLC. DBA, Hixon Sewer and Drain Cleaning. Formerly Danny served as National Manager to major wastewater and natural gas pipeline firms and continues to operate as a consultant to the pipeline safety, infrastructure data collections and robotic CCTV manufacturing clients in the U.S., Canada and Europe.

Hixon Sewer and Drain Cleaning was reopened to bring the level of customer service and integrity Mike Hixon Sewer and Drain was known for back to the Springfield and Clark County area to solve all of your emergency drain cleaning and pipeline video inspection needs.

I began running calls at a very young age with my father and my great, great grandfather Pete (founder of the company in 1941) and saw the dedication and great sense of pride my mentors took in building relationships with their clients above all else. Since i have operated as apprentice all the way to national manager in drain cleaning, as well as, pipeline integrity management firms. I plan to teach the methods and practices employed by these large corporations to every technician here at HSADC while bringing the old world customer service Pete and 4 generations of my predecessors upheld for over 70 years .

My goal is to bring the positives of a national professional services firm to the irreplaceable values of a family dedicated to customer service and integrity.
