I was trying to get my fascia boards repaired and called this place for an estimate since I got a good recommendation from my neighbor. I called twice, gave them my info, and they never called back. I called a third time asking if the job was too small for them to worry about, I got a call not too long after. I think it’s the guy who does the estimate. He sounded like he was in a rush and asked me a bunch of questions. He said he would come by the next day to take a look. I didn’t see him the next day and weeks gone by and no estimate. I guess I was silly to try to give them so many chances based on a good reference. I was willing to see what they can do even another neighbor had problem with the gutters they put in. I’m not sure if they do a much better job for something expensive like a new roof but I wouldn’t recommend for smaller jobs for sure.

J.R.‘s team really knows what they are doing. The company has been in business for decades and has a special expertise in flat roofs (they do a lot of commercial work). Very few Northern Virginia businesses are able to keep their crews long term the way John does. For me, that says a lot.
Naturally, business is good at this firm so don’t be surprised if it takes a couple weeks before they can come out. You always get an estimate before repair work is done or a new roof is ordered. For 9 years I’ve relied on them to handle preventive repairs and am always pleased with the way they take photos of issues to show with the homeowner. They only way in which this firm might disappoint you is occasional office miscommunication. I ignore it. From my point of view it’s a small inconvenience to have skilled professionals working overhead.

I called this company because my roof was old and leaking. I told them I needed a new roof. They said they would inspect and give me an estimate. Well, the man inspected went to his truck and went on the roof with a sealer. He repaired the flashing and several nail holes. he told me my roof was good for another ten years. That was 5 years ago and my roof hasn’t leaked since. The bill was $ 40.00. Thank you JR’S.
