Love Jimmy John’s, this one is shit though. Bunch of scumbags dirty as fuck making sloppy sandwiches, I go to Eugene for my Jimmy Johns.

I LOVE the sandwiches! My go– to lunch most days at work #12 on wheat is my favorite! What can I say… I love the new downtown location as well… They can deliver just one sandwich… how awesome is this!!! People from both locations are nice… a few weeks ago I was there(gateway loc) with children who decided to be super loud and forgot what they wanted when we got to the register; but the girl who waited on us was very patient and was really nice to the kids… I recommend it!!! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is they need more selection or at least add jalapeño peppers :) Thank you!!!

Staff has always been nice and quick to say hi. They make our sandwiches fast and perfectly, every time I’ve gone. The food tastes good and the location is good. There’s always plenty of seating. Music can kind of be loud, but it’s usually not bothersome. My only complaint is the price. It’s good to go to once in a while, but I can’t afford to go here a lot.

I haven’t been to this location for a while due to a bad experience but I decided to give them another shot. The good: I got my sandwich very fast. The bad: The sandwich had enough mayonnaise for perhaps 2 or 3 sandwiches. Not only did it make everything taste like mayonnaise but because the bread is hard on the outside, it makes the ingredients slide out of the back and it is an excersise just trying to keep things from sliding out completely. This is no exaggeration. Also, the music is WAYTOOLOUD. And this is coming from someone who has seen Jimi Hendrix in concert. I don’t understand why it has to be so loud. Is the music supposed to add to the experience or is it maybe to distract from the poor quality of the sandwich and ingredients? I shared my views with the teenaged boy at the counter and he basically shrugged my concerns off. He stated that the music level is normal. I’ve been to several locations, including on the East coast and I can tell you this is patently untrue. I was also told that the mayo was the normal amount. He suggested that this is my fault because I should have ordered light mayonnaise. I don’t want light mayonnaise, just an appropriate amount like I get at any other sandwich shop. This was almost a 2 star experience, but down to one star for the poor attitude of the counter staff. I can go to another shop that is across the street, pay less, taste ingredients besides mayonnaise, and not deal with a bad attitude or music that is so loud that it is almost uncomfortable to sit inside. Lesson learned. Thank you for the education, Jimmy John’s.

Always good, always fast, always accurate… wish it was as fast as it once was(6 minutes) but still the fastest delivery around.

Always great food. I am from the Midwest and would frequent the original stores and their counterpart Milios(formerly Big Mikes). Not as good as the Midwest locations, but it could be nostalgia. About the comments of it not being as good as Subway, well I guess some people prefer presliced and packaged meats and veggies, not me. You really have to wonder about quality when you can get a foot long sandwich for 5 bucks. But then again, some people enjoy balogna. Also, don’t forget the pickle! If you haven’t tried a sandwich on their wheat bread, you are missing out.

Delivery driver insisted on being sociable when I clearly did not want to be, did my «math» for me, and left with a condescending stare when I smiled at him after peeking inside my room and surveying it. I don’t plan to order from here for at least a month or two despite being a local delivery«junkie» because I don’t enjoy being manipulated into more«intimate» feeling social interactions only to be judged harshly. Delivery is supposed to be about convenience, not about winning friends and influencing people, and I didn’t appreciate the attitude at all, it was uncalled for. This guy could easily be 40 and he’s delivering fast food– I guess I shouldn’t feel so insulted. The food was good but I couldn’t enjoy it, because I felt so trashed as a person by this ahole, who needs to come to where I live and judge me, as he undoubtedly does everyone else.

This is a good place for quick sandwiches. The staff is always nice and ready to greet you and say goodbye en mass. I was delighted when they opened up stores here since I was a fan back in the Midwest. I don’t think they have the best sandwiches of all time or anything, but it’s my first choice amongst the chain sandwich places such as Subway or Quiznos. I work outside of their delivery range although my husband claims they show up at his office with his food in under 10 minutes every time he orders.

I worked close to this jimmy John’s and it was the most convenient place to eat because as all the advertisement says they are fast. The sandwiches are also great, I always get the the ultimate porker and if you like ham and bacon this is your sandwich to get. The environment is good and they are always cleaning, so that is a good thing to see. The staff is always friendly, they greet you immediately as you enter the door and say goodbye as you leave. The only complaint I have is if you get the chips and drink, that sky rockets your total to almost $ 10-$ 11. When the sub is normally between $ 6-$ 7.

I like Jimmy Johns. But, of you serve unsweetened tea, you should offer sugar or at least have it available!

This review had to be written! If this shop moved into Southern California, it would take over and the garbage,(Subway, Togo’s, etc.) would have to shut their doors. This sandwich I ordered was awesome. It was very reasonably priced and the portions were perfect. 6 hours later and I’m still stuffed. Awesome job Jimmy John’s. Kids behind counter were also great. Service was very fast too.

It’s sad when you go somewhere that is clean, good food, nice prices, that you have to rate a one because of a snotty brat of a counter girl. Too bad.

Like their commercials say. It’s fast. Just not good, and not even cheap. Why go here when the 5.00 foot long is way better food…

I’ve eaten here frequently. Had an issue about a month ago where my normal #11(turkey, ham, cheese, lettuce, mayo– add sauce, yum!) was messed up. I got meat and cheese on dry bread with one tomato slice. I contacted the company and let them know the issue. A manager called me back, was very nice, and offered me an account credit which I used last night. Jimmy johns is back to normal based on my experience last night. Fresh tasty bread, good meat, fresh toppings, made perfectly. The bread is so good. I wish they offered pickle slices for sandwiches, and that their Italian sauce was more vinegary. If they offered hot ham and cheese or pastrami and cheese, I’d probably eat here more than I should. Definitely worth trying if you are in the mood for a sandwich.

JJ get’s my vote for the sammy industry simply because they are good, clean, fast, and hey they deliver! What’s not to like about that? It’s a bummer they don’t reach all area’s because that would be fantastic and I would order more often. I get the #4 turkey lettuce wrap with cucumber. it’s heaven to me. They also have other amazing sandwiches on their menu as well. If you have not tried JJ’s then you don’t know what your missing!

Hands Down my favorite fast-food sandwich place. This place is super fast. This location in Eugene was the first place that I ever tried Jimmy John’s and I was in love. I’m very glad that the franchise moved out to the Northwest!

Amazing how poor service can make a 1 star review with great food. The #8 Bootlegger club is awesome. The bread is tasty and the food is well worth the $ 1 or 2 more than you would spend for a Subway sandwich. This paticular JJ’s needs new management and a bigger delivery area. Your staff is rude and the 5 blocks around Gateway that you service are a joke.

We eat out several times a week, at all sorts of places, and I’d say we do JJ’s more than anywhere else — usually to go, sometime eat-in or delivered. Lots of reasons: It’s close to home, it’s an easy pit stop on the way to anywhere, it’s faster than fast, it’s cheap, it’s clean, it’s friendly, and most importantly, the food is at the healthy end of the fast-food spectrum and it’s consistently yummy. The Italian meats are really good, we like both the white and wheat breads, and once in a while having lettuce instead of bread is just the ticket for yours truly. Oh, and free smells! :)

I really wanted to like this place. The shop is cool and the people are super nice. The food came out fast and fresh. After all that, My Turkey Avo sandwich was bland and not made very well. No flavor and too much mayo. My husbands Roast Beef was the same, couldn’t really taste any flavor. This place has sooooo much promise. I will be back to see if maybe it was just a bad day.

I’ve ate here 3 more times since my original review. Down to 3 stars. The first time I went, the bread was soft and perfect. The last 3 times(including my wifes sandwiches) the bread has been really hard. Especially at the ends. When you take a bite, the meat and veggies slide out of the back. If you squeeze the hell outta the back of the bread you can keep it in there… kinda. Solid 3 stars. I like the gargantuan. They just need to make sure the bread is consistently soft and edible. Without that, they’re just another chain sandwich spot.
