Journey At Central Christian Church

Been going here for years always feels like home. They are very welcoming love the message each time I go I learn something new about God and life. It’s hard to find a place that welcomes you the way they do. You defiantly feel gods presents. If your looking for a church to call home then this is your place.

This is an amazingly welcoming church. We are military and saw good reviews online. They never forgot our names from the first time and they have a lot you could get involved with. They run a garden for a homeless shelter, they have child care and youth programs, plus fun programming like girlfriends and God and hiking groups. They do a 9:30am and an 11:15 am on Sundays. Everyone calls it the Journey. Come check it out! Pastor Jerry is awesome. Tell them Brittany says hi!

I went this morning as I am in search of a multicultural non-​denominational church. You can definitely feel the presence of God in this place. The atmosphere was very laid back as some people had on jeans and flip flops. I wore a dress and dress shoes and still didn’t feel out of place.
I noticed there were a lot of young married couples and so the message was geared towards them. As a single woman, I didn’t mind just made a mental note for the future ;) The pastor met every at the door after church and chit-​chatted.
You can tell the church does a lot of together — there was a strong sense of community. They have life groups (I’m a fan of life groups!) even though the church seemed to be small.
I didn’t give it 5 stars because I arrived 10 minutes late and it was my first time so I don’t think it’s fair to say it’s the best church ever. However, I would definitely attend again and maybe next time I’ll go to the second service.
