History
Established in 1870.
the building at 318 West Commercial Street has been around since Frisco railroad came through in 1870. Back then they just poured beer up front with a liquor store in back and a brothel upstairs. An 1870’s census lists it as a house of ill repute. During prohabition it ran as a billiards hall, and has been through its share of changes. Most people will remember Lindberg’s From the late 1970’s through the early 1990’s. Bruce Rader would bring in top notch Chicago blues acts such as CO Co Taylor, Taj mahal, and the cate brothers. Now you can relive a bit of the past and make your own memories 6 nights a week in this historic tavern
