History

Established in 2011.

Organized in 1956, the Missouri Council of the Blind (MCB) is the largest Blind-​Consumer in the state of Missouri. MCB caters to a very large legally blind and blind population by providing many programs for assistance and advancement. MCB’s one and only Thrift Store is located right here in beautiful Springfield, Missouri! Your Favorite Thrift Store is a fund generator for our many programs of which ALL 100% of the proceeds stay with Your Missouri Council of the Blind! Our goal is to provide the best service, quality, and pricing while also being clean and organized. You, as the Shopper and Donor, are what gives the Missouri Council of the Blind Life, so as such, it is our goal to make this the Best and Most Enjoyable Thrift Store around!
