On day 2 of my good poisoning from a vanilla protein shake. Stopped by there after the gym because I forgot my own shake. I don’t think they had cleaned properly. The pitcher that went on the blender seemed dirty, but I assumed I must be seeing things. 5 – 10 minutes after starting to drink it, I’m sick as a dog.

I just recently landed a new Hospital account and was looking for places to eat. I was so happy when I found out a MMG was close. I’ve always been a big fan of Muscle Maker Grill and this place is no different– great staff, great food, and great shakes die whenever I don’t carry my own. I recommend this to everyone, there’s food in here that’s Everyone will enjoy!

Imagine a mommy who cares about your health and preps you a yummy bento box. This is how I felt when I received my order of a Turkey Meatball Parm Wrap filled with mighty meaty meatballs, marinara sauce, and melted mozzarella and a side of fluffy Brown Rice and Beans in a branded, reusable container. Really nom-nom-able. My 1 year old loved it too. The Turkey Chili was another hit with both of us with lean turkey and lots of fixings like red beans, lean cheddar cheese, salsa, scallion, and sour cream, over brown rice. Both of these dishes could last a couple of meals. The Premium Burger Signature Sandwich also impressed us with a juicy beef patty and toppings of turkey bacon, cheddar, romaine, tomatoes, onions, and a well-balanced sauce. Misses: The Teriyaki Chicken Nuggets which came with fresh, crunchy celery and fat-free sour cream– I was expecting a crunchy outer texture instead of what seemed to be steamed, dry chicken meat that lacked teriyaki flavor. Then being Filipino, I totally love vinegar but found the Cucumber Salad side inedible. The vinegar was so overpowering that it made me choke. Despite these, I’m a real fan.

Great customer service and delicious food! We were searching for a healthy restaurant that delivers and decided to give MMG in Springfield a chance. It’s our new go-to place! The guiltless entrees are large enough to be dinner one night and lunch the next.

I dont even know where to begin. I wish i could give it negative 5 stars. I have been coming to this location since the first week they opened years ago and ate there at least twice a month. I moved a few months ago and havent been back since maybe january. I get the same dish every single time and the same shake every time. I asked for a chocolate banana shake and noticed girl using water! Water??? Where is the skim milk? She said its under new management and they dont use milk. So i said ok ill see how this goes. I ordered arizona with no rice and instead of rice, i got brocolli. Normally i can only eat half and the rest is left overs!!! I have never eaten the whole portion. I counted 6 small brocollies… really? This was more like a side dish than my dinner! Ate the whole thing and im still hungry. And oh yeah my chocolate banana shake has a bitter unrippened banana in it!!! Tastes very watery and the only thing i can taste is a green banana. Never coming back. Not even if they were giving food away for free. If i wasnt 20 min away when i discovered all this i would have gotten back and asked for my money back

Where do I start!!! The concept is supposed to be good food with your health in mind… At least that’s what I thought the commercials advertise… If you are training and are on an strict diet… Muscle Maker Grill is not the place to go… Their food is packed with a lot of hidden salt and lots of bad fatty calories… Their nuggets are sautéed in oil… Which is a no go for body builders unless its coconut oil… You mind as well get a five piece from Wendy’s for a dollar and save some money… The godfather is packed with salt and calories do to the sauce and cheese they use… The Arizona is ok… but the sauce adds calories and the chefs has no clue as to how many calories it adds to the dish… The meatballs are good until they add the sauce… The soups doesn’t taste fresh but taste like its pre-packaged… Which is not healthy eating at all… There’s a reason why body builders doesn’t frequent their restaurants… None of the owners, chefs, or staff has muscles… The food is not healthy… Save your money and invest in a good grill and personal trainer that will teach you how to eat healthy…

I frequent many Muscle Maker Grill’s this could be good or bad depending on how you look at it. For those of us who are health conscious this is a great alternative to the typically options. I always call ahead and when I arrive my order is ready for pickup. The place is clean and placed in a covenant location. I have one grip about this location which is they do not have a «frequent guest» rewards program like some others do. I was lucky enough to get nutrition facts from one of the locations and I keep them in the car because even though the calories are stated on the menu it doesn’t help those of us concerned with macro nutrients.

Food is decent here, but I was annoyed with my most recent experience. I came in around 2:35pm on a Saturday afternoon, and they are open until 3, but I was told once I walked in that they close the grill down at 2:30 and they could no longer make me food. The cashier was nice to me when he explained this to me, but I think it is ridiculous to have such short hours anyway, and then stop making food a full half hour before you close(it only takes like 10 min to make a wrap anyway!). If you stop serving food at 2:30, make your hours match or at least post that info on the website!

Been coming here for some time, been to others that are sub par, this location is consistent. Good food, decent prices. While the others in the franchise have taken a step back, springfield still keeps it going.

Great food. Turkey meatballs or southwest chicken wrap are always flavorful.. Always quick and friendly service by familiar faces.

Food was below sub par. It was just a gross environment. I watched a cook scratch his scalp and then touch someone’s food. Like really? I’d also recommend Smashburger or Zitas for a milk shake. The MM ones aren’t really good

Got an order to go. The XXL turkey burger wrap was dry and the cucumber salad side was rotten, brown and slimy. It must have been sitting in the fridge for a while. I’m getting the feeling they don’t make their sides when they are ordered. This is a very inconsistent chain — some locations way better than others in food quality and cleanliness. This one not so good.

If you haven’t heard of Muscle Maker, check out the website. Chain. Good food. Healthy. Large portions. Healthy. Blah Blah Blah. The Muscle Maker in Springfield is pretty decent. Since the last time I was in, they seemed to open up the space, which before was congested. Everything is clean, neat, and healthy. The food was brought out to me within 3 – 4 minutes. I ordered the Santa Fe wrap with Brown Rice coming to $ 8.20 total. I was only able to eat half because it was so big. The Santa Fe features chicken breast, turkey bacon, brown rice, and some Santa Fe sauce, which is supposedly low fat. Who really knows. Check the nutritional facts on the site for more information. I’ve heard that Muscle Maker isn’t really as healthy as it’s cracked up to be, but honestly, if you’re trying to be the next Mr. Olympia, you’re probably not going to go here anyway. It’s a nice spot to hit for a cheaper meal that packs you with a lot of good tasty, low fat, «healthy» food.

As far as health food goes, MMG is actually pretty good like most Unilocalers say. Big portions, food that tastes good with one exception-the pasta. Everytime I’ve had the pasta(my office orders from here frequently) it’s been chewy and gross. My advice-stick to the wraps and save the Italian food for a day when you’re not watching your carbs.

I’ve been to many of the MMG locations throughout NJ and both in NYC and Springfield is by far the best. The portions are larger than at other locations and the food comes out fast. They also used to have their own daily specials, but it seems like the corporate office put an end to it — too bad because they were better than the specials that corporate dictates. Is Muscle Maker Grill 100% healthy, clean food? No.(If that was their philosophy they wouldn’t sell soda, i.e., like The Pump in NYC.) But is it a pretty good option for someone who is trying to eat healthy at a reasonable price(and is sick of trying to do this at Subway, etc)? Absolutely.

I just began eating at Muscle Maker Grill this past week, and I have to say, it is delicious. One of my biggest issues with health food establishments is portion size. You pay a good amount for well-cooked, healthy food, but the portion size isn’t filling. So is the case at Planet Fitness, where I also dine — great food, but small sizes. Muscle Maker doesn’t have that issue at all. The portions are big — good-sized wraps, and the sides are huge. It’s guarenteed to fill any belly. It’s a bit higher-priced than other places, but you get what you pay for: more food, better food. Two of my favorite wraps there are the Cancun Wrap and the Teriyaki Stir-Fry wrap. All food is made fresh, and all low-fat alternatives are used… you really can’t ask for anything better. The shakes are also delicious and a great size. One of the best things I like to enjoy is a Chocolate Peanut Butter shake after lifting, and since Muscle Maker is located within a few minutes of the gym, it’s great. At $ 5.00, it’s guarenteed to fill you. Lastly, one of the best things about Muscle Maker is it’s delivery policy. They deliver until they close, not just certain hours like Planet Fitness(10 – 3). They’re open from 10 – 9, so they will deliver until 8:30(30 mins to turn the grill off), and that’s such a valuable thing if you want a delivery for different meals of the day. Their service is prompt, and none of the food gets messed up on it’s way to your house. For someone who does get deliveries, this is definitely a plus. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a good portion-sized, healthy meal… and a feeling of being stuffed stupid.
