Nova Pediatrics

Coming here for more than 10 years. A sick visit today for Christian. Both of my boys have been coming here since they were born. It’s not the closest place to us now but my boys love it here. They are fully staffed with knowledgeable professionals and offer great flexibility. The nurses here get a special mention. Especially Nurse Sherry!!! She’s so friendly and patient. I remember her giving shots to Jacob when he was younger and that was not fun but she always handled it well.

I felt like I was in a public health facility receiving free health care based on how I was treated. It was a new patient appt and we arrived early. I walked up to the receptionist and she looks at me flatly and say «not yet». I said «not yet, what? We’re checking in». She said «oh, I though you were asking how much longer». That tells me she’s accustomed to running behind schedule, even at 9 a.m.
They ultimately turned us away because we were not able to get the shot record from his previous doctor in time for the initial appt. This wasn’t a school physical or anything — just a visit to discuss an issue with my son. Completely inflexible. She said if we could get it in the next 15 min. we would still be seen.
I should have listened to the negative online reviews but I wanted to give this place a chance and it disappointed in every way. NOT recommended. Again, I felt as if I were receiving free health care the way I was treated. Like I owed them something for there time other than the bill I would have had to pay.

I tried to change my daughter’s appointment time because I had an unexpected car emergency. I was told I would be charged $ 50 dollars by the office for rescheduling the appointment because it was within a 24 hour time frame. I understand that changing appointment times is an inconvenience to the office but $ 50! That is completely ridiculous. Had to scramble to find a way to get her to the office. Will be looking into other pediatric offices with more flexible policies

I am bringing my child after he was born. The doctors and nurses are nice. Me and my wife are happy with them. The only thing that drives me nuts is that they mispronounce my baby’s name every single time even after I corrected them repeatedly.

We started to come to this office since my daughter was born 2 years ago, and everyting seem great. The staffs and nurses are friendly, that’s why we like to come here. However, recently, my daughter got a cold and had been coughing for about a week. We brought her to the office to get check and asked for medication. The pediatrician keep telling us that our daughter is ok and no need for any medcation. We thought there is something wrong, so we decided to changed the office to different pediatrician. We took our daughter to the new office, and the pediatrician told us that our daughter got pneumonic, and provided us with medication prescriptions. How could the pediatrician at NOVA Pediatrician didn’t see that? even though we told her that our daughter had been coughing. We really disappointed with this office, and I hope that other parents don’t have to go through what we went through.

All the pediatricians, nurses, and staff at this office are awesome! The doctors take their time and explain everything, and you never feel rushed.

Great center. All the pediatricians are excellent. Dr. Nematullay (not super clear on her name spelling) is who we saw and loved her. She spent great quality time with my daughter. We did not feel rushed or leaving more confused — which happens with a lot of doctors. The nurses on call are absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend it.

I’m going to go ahead and give this center 3 stars. It is 2014 and they are still inefficient with all of the technology at our finger tips. If you want them to fill out a form be prepared to wait 5 days.
The reason why I gave them 3 stars is because the doctors are nice and listen to your concerns, but that are so inefficient that its a turn off. I think I will go elsewhere to get care for my child.

I absolutely love this practice! As a first time mom they have been amazing. I am always able to get a hold of a medical professional and when i do they are always helpful.
i like all of the docs I have seen but our favorite is MD Nematolahay (spelling?)
She is clear headed and very knowledgeable… definitely recommend her!

Dr. Meyer is fantastic — she listens to my concerns, answers my questions and doesn’t rush our visits.
I would give this office 5 stars but I hate calling in and speaking with «Bridgette» — this lady should never be allowed to answer the phone. She’s harsh, rude and condescending. I think she wakes up on the wrong side of the bed every day… She’s not too much nicer in person either. I don’t know what her deal is but she really needs a few lessons in customer service.
Otherwise, location and parking are easy to find, waiting room has toys for the little ones and the nurses and Dr. Meyer have been great.
