Overall not pleasant experience. There definitely needs to be a larger selection of drinks. There were not very many beers to choose from. Portioning out the food was not even close to equal. Literally one person had a mound of rice on their plate and we barely had enough to eat with our meal. I’m pretty sure he forgot we were there as he was giving everyone else there second portion before we got our first. Won’t go back!

The sushi is… definitely made in Springfield. Sake’s biggest selling point for me is its half priced sushi during the week. You can get two California rolls for somewhere around 5 dollars! So if you have time i would highly suggest calling take out here before you immediately decide to have fast food on your lunch break.

I go here when craving sushi but don’t want to drive forever to get it. Not bad for Springfield, but not very authentic… no surprise, like I said, this is Springfield. I love the dark wood inside the restaurant though!

My son and I love this place! The yum yum sauce is the best! We tried this one and the other Japanese Steakhouse practically next door and we never went back to the other one. We eat here at least a couple times a month. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is the lettuce needs to be fresher most of the time but other than that it’s great!

I have traveled around the country for work eaten in number of Japanese steakhouse & sushi bars. Saw the advertisement for this new place, and decide to try it out with a friend. This sake 3 is by far the worst sushi I have ever eaten., and I got one word for this place C, H, E, A, P,(H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E.). But I guess it was part of our fault, we go in for the half price sushi. But for Japanese sushi bar to serve Chinese style buffet quality fish to customer it’s ridiculous.(Sushi is all about the freshness and quality of the Fish and Rice for the management of sake 3) fresh tuna is deep red color and clear to see see through not pink or Orange, and cloudy. All I can say is you will never find me there again at that I forgot to mention my friend throw up after we left right inside my car I hope management of sake 3 I’ll get the message and change the way they serve their customer. Be aware eat there at your own risk

Hibachi’s ok, regular table service fine, but WHYOOOOOHWHYYYYYYY over-saturate this hole in the wall I now call home(AKA Springfield, Ohioooo) with toooo many Japanese steak houses?!? I don’t see how this place can make it(hate to jinx it, really…) but there’s a bigger, SLIGHTLY better option literally just up the street, practically walking distance(if anybody EVER walks on Spfld’s «restaurant row…») I ordered my favorite, seaweed salad, some average to good sushi choices, and a seafood soup that was ok but too salty. I’m pretty easy to please in places like this, but Mr. M&P tried to sub out a California Roll(hates to even LOOK @ the stuff!!) with something else in a Bento Box, and there’s no hope for flexibility. Good luck, Sake, you really did an AMAZING job making over the old Cici’s pizza place, but who knows if a «sayanora» might be in our future…
