I absolutely loved my lunch here! Everything was delicious and the service was great! I don’t have enough goo things to say about Sisters in Thyme. I had the Turkey and Provolone with came on the Spinach and Feta Focaccia. The sandwich was perfect. I loved the bread, which I believe is made in house. If you are looking for a great local deli, this is your place!

Looking for lunch at 10am when we came across Sisters in Thyme on C-Street. I ordered their three cheese grilled cheese and a cup of tomato soup. Best grilled cheese and tomato soup I’ve ever had! The bread and selection of cheeses was excellent and the tomato soup was so fresh with tomato chunks. My boyfriend got a turkey sandwich on their fresh made jalapeño facaccio bread. AMAZING. They also had a selection of flavored teas and a shop for bread and other local and organic coffee and products. The staff was so sweet and attentive. Can’t wait to see them again on our next trip to Springfield, MO.

First time here. Saw the reviews and my son actually picked this place for his birthday lunch with our friends. We were not disappointed. The sisters are so kind. The food is beyond tremendous, and they gave my son a cinnamon roll for his birthday. The cinnamon roll is to die for. One of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I have eaten. My roast beef was great. Great Rueben. Also, their homemade salad dressing is tremendous. We are leaving with a bottle. This place gets five stars on all fronts. Thanks sisters!

Just passing through on a roadtrip and wanted to try something more local. My husband complained a bit that Sisters in Thyme was further off the highway than he originally wanted to go. We both ordered the hot roast beef and blue cheese sandwich, deviled eggs, and a cookie. We devoured everything and I heard the husband say«well, that was worth the drive!» Enough said. Thank you ladies. Your food is wonderful.

We loved this place! They had a wide selection of sandwich options, quiches, sides, and even a couple of pasta options when we went. They also had a wide selection of baked goods. We had the tortellini carbonara, a slice of sausage quiche, a grilled ham and cheese sandwich, a cinnamon roll, and a chocolate peanut butter muffin. Everything was fantastic! The food was A++ and the ladies were very friendly. Just try it!

Had quiche and coffee and my sister had the cinnamon roll. Food was Great and the service was quick and friendly. I wasn’t sure about the neighborhood but it was worth driving north of town.

I absolutely loved Sisters in Thyme. The ladies that own/run the place are so nice and super helpful. It was my first time in and I had no idea what I wanted, so one of the ladies went through their menu for me, described a few dishes and it was an easy pick after that. I had the primavera veggie quiche. It was AMAZING. Thick layer of cheese on top, hearty veggies cooked to the perfect texture(I like my veggies to melt in with the cheese and egg of a quiche and these did), and the crust was great. I also had their side salad with their homemade house dressing. It’s incredible how it just made a simple side salad so amazing. I’ll definitely be back again!

Wow — just wow. Took my dd out for mom and daughter date. We decided to give this place a try. So glad we did. So excited to find such a unique, quaint little spot which caters to the gluten free foodie. Their dedicated kitchen made me feel good about my meal — then I tasted my roast beef sandwich — wow. Might have been the best ever. They took extra care with our extra allergies(more than gluten). So impressed with these ladies! Highly recommended!

If you’re looking for a simple bake shoppe with great food and cozy atmosphere, hit C-Street for Sisters in Thyme. I have been here 3 times in the past two weeks and I will tell you that they have the best Reuben sandwich I have had anywhere(and I’ve eaten many Reubens). The pasta salad is amazing(good old fashioned mac salad), as for their baked goods… If heaven has a bake shoppe…

Ordered a turkey sandwich and it came on a spinach and feta focaccia panini. That pretty much won me over. The perfection of the sandwich sealed the deal. I will be back again and again. There were many things on the menu that looked great. The service was really great, too, and the items for sale around the restaurant were charming and interesting.

I can not say enough about this place. They have the best gluten free sandwich bread and blueberry muffins I have tasted in my life and I have tried what seems to be ever type on the planet over the last 10 years. Nicest ladies you will ever meet, extremely sad I do not live closer to them, I would eat there almost daily. Thanks ladies for offering gluten free safe food!

An awesome sandwich on oven baked bread and two real deviled eggs for less than 8 bucks? Yes, please. Seriously, the quality of food here is surprisingly good. These women know food.

Super tasty and the people that run it are really nice. Had a roast beef and corned beef sandwich on the Amish bread and the Tuscan tomato soup. Both blew my expectations out of the water.

This place is amazing! The Reuben by far is my favorite sandwich, get it to go or stay to enjoy it & get to know the ladies. Plus, they stock glass bottle sodas. You just can’t get any cooler than that. I’ve also had their food at many, many catered events downtown, and it is always phenomenal. Their presentation is spot on, and always have a great big smile for you!

Love Sisters in Thyme! Their pastries are the best and I love the quaint atmosphere of their store. You are immediately enticed with the smells of freshly baked goodies the moment you enter the door! And you are always greeted with a warm and friendly smile!

These. Ladies. Rule. I absolutely love this place, and I’m sad that I always forget to take my friends here on days when we can’t decide where to eat at. Plus, this is the perfect time of year to visit. If you’re out on a blustery Saturday afternoon, do your heart and soul a favor and hop on down here for lunch. It’s a tiny business with one or two tables to sit down at, cozily positioned near two big display case full of quiches, cold salads, meats, truffles, and baked goods(suitably separated, of course). It’s like walking into a modern version of what I imagine the Oregon Trail general stores were like, as it’s basically a wonderland of comfort food. Who wants to go shoot some bears? Sorry, I didn’t mean that — that’s just the ten-year-old Oregon Trail PC game player in me speaking. What I love getting here is a soup and salad combination. Every time I’ve gone, they’ve had this potato soup that has a gravy-like taste and consistency. That might sound weird, but it’s unbelievably delicious. Also, side note: if you’re turned off by the idea of a bowl full of gravy, I’m not sure I want to know you. So, yes. I order that with a simple turkey and cheese sandwich. It sounds basic, but they slice their incredibly high-quality deli meat and cheese in front of you, and you can taste the difference. Seeing them do this the first time I came sold me on their business because as a rule, I can’t stand deli meat. Except here. Here, I look forward to it. Top it with hearty wheat bread and fresh lettuce and you’ve got yourself a genuine deli experience. Also, I’ve gotten their mango tea every time I’ve been here. I think there’s nicotine in it, maybe. To top it all off, the lady that’s taken and made our orders every time has been such a sweetheart. She cares about her business, and so should you. Pro tip: get a punch card. It’s not crazy cheap, but the price is worth it.
