This little carry-out barbecue shack is located in the parking lot of Smillie’s IGA Market, right next to a drive-up ATM. I have only eaten here once. I suspect this barbecue may hail from a different regional tradition than most of the other barbecue places in town(which mostly takes after Kansas City style). Instead of being shredded or sliced, the meat is chopped into pieces, then heated on a griddle, then put on the buns and covered with sauce. The beef had a lot of fatty bits in it. It wasn’t horrible, but I don’t think I would eat there again unless I was hungry and it happened to be most convenient. But on the other hand, it IS the closest«barbecue» place to where I live…
