Soap N Suds Coin Laundry

BEWARE!!!
My roommates and I have been regular patrons of this laundry facility for months now and have had pretty good service there. Honestly, the only reason we have gone there is just because it was the closet one to our apartment and we have been happy, however today was a totally different story!
We walk in to the laundromat and begin to load our laundry into the washing machines. I had a smaller load so I was using a smaller machine and my roommates began using this huge one for really large loads. They finish putting their items in the machine and begin to pour the detergent into the top of it. The quarter slot on this machine is broken so you have to ask the attendant to start it. You hand the attendant the money and they start the machine. Having gone there several times we are well aware of this.
As my roommate pours the soap into it, the woman attendant, VERY rudely says, «Why are trying to start that machine without help?» My roommate responds that is just how have always done that and how we didn’t know you weren’t supposed to do anything without assistance. I will admit he did come up a little rude but it wasn’t his intention. He was just confused.
This woman went on and on about how if we gave her attitude she could kick us out and all these other unnecessary comments. We began to question why she being like that to us and the argument just kind of escalated. We asked for a name and a phone number to contact someone to complain to because we had never been treated like this before. The woman finally gave us her first name of Brittany but refused to give us a phone number. My roommates became so frustrated that they just asked for their money back and took their items out of the machine. She told us we had to leave and by this time we were glad to, trust me, however my laundry had already began to cycle so it was already wet. I told her if I had to leave I wanted my money back. She refused saying that once it was already in the washing machine she couldn’t refund it and after my load was done in the machine I would have to leave. I said okay.
So my roommates and I just sat outside waiting for my laundry to be done because we did not want to be in there with this hateful woman, As soon as my load finished, I got my clothes and took them outside to our car. I went back inside to apologize how we reacted. I admit, we did get a little rude to her, but it was only after she was rude to us, the paying customer. I walked inside and said that I was sorry about how we reacted but I would like her name and a phone for who I could contact because I was very unhappy. I was being very civil. Again, the woman refused to give the phone number saying that I could «Google it.» She said that, «You don’t come into someone’s work and be rude to them!» I attempted for what seemed like the hundredth time to explain to her that this is not how you treat paying customers and that I work in hospitality, in which I do, I work at a hotel, and that I have to deal with rude people all the time. Sh stated that hospitality was her major. I told her that she will fail at that for treating people that way. Not to mention that «her wife» and standing there the whole time saying all kinds of stuff as well. This woman literally started screaming at the top of her lungs and threatening to call the police if I didn’t leave.
Finally, we just left and found another laundromat named the Daily Wash at Glenstone and Grand and we’re very happy with it. This place is sooo much cleaner, there was not one out of order sign, free wifi, and the attendant was so kind and helpful. We will be going there from now on. And you could bet your bottom dollar I’m going to Google Soaps n Suds number and complain about Brittany. I have never been treated with such disrespect in my life.
