Great Atmosphere… Can’t beat it in the area. Food is average. I’ve tried many items on the menu a few times to make a solid judgement on the food. It’s presentation is good but taste very bland. Drinks are OK– i would order wine or beer because the 2 mix drinks i ordered taste like they had no alcohol and were not very good.

Took my family for dinner during the springtime and it has a very nice atmosphere. Since good weather is now here the outside patio is open and they prefer you to specify if you are sitting inside or outside with your reservation. The server was excellent and extremely personable. Gave us great suggestions on meals and drinks.
I ordered the crab cake sliders and the truffle oil french fries. I would highly recommend both! But you definitely need to share the truffle fries… although pricy it was a plentiful serving. Mom ordered the lobster roll and was very happy with her order, and my fiancé had a burger which he was very pleased with. Although the service and atmosphere is very nice I think the prices are a little high for some of their entrees.$ 23 for tilapia? I say nay-​nay. But they do have a variety of other hand-​helds and appetizers that fit better in a budget.
Main reason I knocked a star off is because of their ‘smoking’ section. It is right outside the entrance door to the restaurant. Not very pleasant to walk into the threshold of the restaurant in a cloud of smoke.

We ordered a Prosciutto pizza and a couple drinks. The drinks arrived within a reasonable time; the pizza was a bit of a wait but, we were not in a hurry or very hungry.
The service was overwhelmingly superior. Despite many patrons, the server returned to our table as if we were the sole diners on the oversized patio.
The pizza was in fact, flatbread. It lacked flavor. I applied a light dusting of salt. There was no improvement.
Three stars for the food and service with an additional star for ambience.
As I’ve said, «the main draw to Tavola is NOT the food but the outdoor patio». I will return — often.

Our lunch at Tavola was a really nice way to spend an afternoon. We sipped prosseco under an umbrella on their expansive veranda, and were treated well by our own server, and several others who passed by and refilled our waters and cleared our plates throughout the meal.
We tried the Mediterranean platter as an appetizer, and it came loaded with fresh house made hummus, warm pita, crumbled feta, roasted red peppers, sliced cucumbers and plenty of olives. I enjoyed a Cobb salad as my entrée, but would have loved if it were tossed a little better and had a better lettuce to «good stuff» ratio.
I thought our table was nice, loved the linens matched to the umbrellas. The food and service were decent, and I’d definitely come back.

Review for outside seating.
I agree with the majority of 3 star reviews because :
— it is way overpriced for the local area and it’s not a resort.
— Service the 5x we’ve been here in summers 2015 and 2016 has been spotty. I. E Why do we have to ask for our table to be wiped down each time? Get the person who is clearing the dishes from the previous customer to carry a rag and wipe the table down as part of the process.
And as was the case last evening why do we get our drinks deposited onto our tables next to the closed menus and then watch as a waitress scurries away, returning 10 minutes later to take our order? Menus closed means we’d like to order. Or at least ask if we are ready. I just don’t get that but that’s the norm here.
They are the negatives. The positives are the food is good. The view is fabulous.
We ate:
Prosciutto and Arugula salad — Devine!
Cheesesteak eggrolls– Really great!
Cheeseburger sliders– Good. Could be great if the rolls were less dense. You want to taste the meat.
5 stars for a view you cannot beat in Delaware County
After the ordering snafu our waitress was kind, pleasant and attentive.
Kudos must go out to the reception area and the two young ladies who are responsible for seating. They are friendly, affable and very professional presenting a good face for your first encounter with Tavola’s outside seating.

Sat outside in the bar area and was very impressed by atmosphere and quality of food. Prices were not bad either and the view of the golf course was great!

Vegan/​Vegetarians: go somewhere else, they don’t want to accommodate you …
So this place looks great: fantastic outside bar, seating etc. our waitress was very nice. Problem is the food. It is over priced for average fare. To make matters worse: I get that you can’t allow customizing too much. But if I bring 6 people and I’m the one paying, I would have thought that they could have brought something as simple as a plate of «mixed veggies» as I’m vegan. I was told the chef was too busy to customize (the restaurant was not crowded). So I left hungry. The others were not impressed with their food, but probably would give this 2 stars

Don’t go there! Had dinner last night. My salmon dinner was inedible — fish as dry as the plank is was served on. My biggest complaint is that the ladies room was completely out of toilet tissue in every stall! Seriously! For a busy restaurant this is just nuts!
The wait staff was good and my white wine was served icy cold. They were the only good things I can say about Tavola.

We went for the Mother’s Day buffet it was 47.50 per person. The only seafood there was shrimp. I mean if it’s 47.50 per person, it should at least be lobster or crab legs something. They had chicken finger and fries as a option. The only thing probably worth it was the prime rib.

I went to Tavola’s a couple months ago. A girl named Dana was my waitress and she did an excellent job serving my food… she gave my friends and I awesome service!

I came here on a Monday evening so it was quiet and cozy. Sat at the outdoor bar and had a glass of wine and a corona. For food I shared the cheesesteak spring rolls with ketchup, these shrimp apps with bacon (can’t remember the name), crab cakes and their prosciutto pizza. I think the best dish by far were the crab cakes. I was not a fan of the dough on the prosciutto pizza but the ingredients were just about right. Ended the night with a cheesecake — it was like a cheesecake filled cannoli, or in other words, devine! Ron the bartender was very friendly, and the staff was very present. A really nice establishment!

Tavaolas is a fun place to go in Delaware County. The bartenders are busy but friendly and the apps are pretty good.
On a warm night it is a always a good time.
Only complaint is the music. There used to be some good acts but the guitar players I’ve seen recently chase me to the far side of the bar.
All in all a good experience.

So sick of pizza joints & detest Chickie & Pete’s — Tavola is a great option for those who don’t want the same ol’ same ol’ (with or without your kids). Service is super-​friendly, food is good & the outdoor seating is awesome! Bloody Mary’s are TO DIE for! Only negative is the screeching live music nightly — so loud that you can barely hear yourself talk & the «talent» has an awful, cruise ship-​reject quality. It has actually deterred us on a couple of occasions. But all in all, so happy to have another choice so close to home!
And for those complaining about the prices… welcome to 2016. There’s a Ruby Tuesday’s in The Springfield Mall about a half mile down the road. Bön Appetite.

Nice spot with good outdoor seating and good views, just a very overpriced menu.
We’re in Springfield guys, not Olde City (or Media even!).
Mixed drinks are 9 to 12 each, beers 6 to 8.
The food is wildly overpriced.
A ten inch personal pizza is 15 bucks.
Side of onion rings is 7 bucks.
The bar food is very decent, the regulars tell me that the dinners are not good.
I’ll gladly go again just for drinking in a nice spot.

This place is too expensive for my taste!
We had a beer, Bacardi and Coke, two salads… and I had the sausage pizza… he had the short ribs which tasted more like pot roast. My pizza was adequate. I’ve had better. The salads were fine. The «pot roast» came with mashed potatoes and a vegetable.
BUT – $ 102.00 with 20% tip… is RIDICULOUS! I could’ve had two rib eyes, salads and an app at Texas Roadhouse for less then $ 102.00!
NEVER AGAIN! Period.

Sometimes the best local finds are the ones that you run into accidentally, and Tavola will be classified in that category for my wife and I. We had been meaning to try it out since last year, but after a nice spa day for her, and some free drinks coupons from the spa, we decided to have a late weekday lunch there. Tavola fit the bill and then some, but our experience was definitely at an off peak time as opposed to lunch or dinner rush.
Atmosphere — Lots of warm brown tones with splashes of orange, Tavola really captures a dark, warm feel. The patio and bar outside were open, although with some light construction work and a crisp fall day, we chose to eat inside after a spa day. A large back bar separates the main dining room from the bar and doors also open up to the patio, which I’m guessing is fantastic in the late spring/​early summer season.
Waitstaff — Our waitress Jen was very friendly and pleasant, and with the time of day we went over, we were one of the only customers. She made some good recommendations for food and drinks, and was quick to make sure our coupons were honored and that we were able to have a great first experience.
Food — Bullseye on the beverages! Wife and I are big mojito fans, and their mojito is incredibly good (very surprised with how fresh the mint was!). Wife went with the blackberry mojito which had a different taste, but also pretty good and couldn’t beat the price of free. No apps here, although the cheesesteak egg rolls are a definite try next time we go back. Wife had the fish tacos which were two, extremely large ones full of fresh fish and cabbage. She didn’t need to eat dinner they were that filling, and delicious. I went with the buffalo chicken panini which was also very good. Really flavorful Buffalo sauce and a great mix of blue cheese made this a perfect lunch sized portion. Fries were pretty standard fare, but went well with both of our meals for splitting.
Intangibles — Jen mentioned that they have a great brunch on Sundays, may be a fun place to take the mother in law or meet the family next time they come out our way. Could see this place being mobbed with people on Fridays in the summer, especially with the country club next door. Kind of hard to find, but you need to pass the country club, but look before the hotel. Great for folks staying out this way or attending a wedding, really has the all in one aspect nailed down if you’re looking for a place out here (spa/​hotel/​reception site/​rehersal dinner) and a church is not ¼ mile down the road.
Overall — Tavola is a new somewhat local favorite that we’ll be trying again soon. Food was pretty good and prices are reasonable, just hope we can luck out the same way as our impromptu visit was so we can again enjoy the atmosphere and dining in a pretty relaxed atmosphere.

I’ve eaten on the inside before, but yesterday was my first time on the outside patio. It took several minutes before anyone came to seat us, and funny enough I made reservations, but we clearly didn’t need them judging by the lack of customers. We were seated without menus, and we received them a minute or two later. The menu isn’t huge, but has at least a good choices for the everyday guest. What’s weird to me is the fact that some of the meals come with fries, and others do not. They were only priced a $ 1 or $ 2 higher with the fries, so why not offer an up charge to avoid chips? We received our drinks quickly, however, the bruschetta took quite a while to receive, and we ended up getting our meals while still enjoying the super fresh and very delicious appetizer.
I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich (add mayo, please!), and my husband ordered a burger. As soon as our food was put down, we realized that we didn’t have fries with either meal and my chicken had no mayo on it. Again we waited until the server came back and I asked, «wasn’t our meals suppose to come with fries?», to which she remarked, «you didn’t get any?» Did she think we had eaten them all up, disposed of the proof they were ever there, and then preceded to get some more for free?
My husband enjoyed the burger, and half of my chicken sandwich, as I couldn’t quite enjoy it for the fact that the chicken was a huge hunk, rather than a thinner piece that would be more easy to chew.
The atmosphere and views are clearly spectacular, the service and food are lacking a bit. I’ll go back again, at least just for the bruschetta.

Best Bloody Mary in America! That’s not a bad thing to be able to crow about if you’re trying to make a name for yourself. Check out the link.
I’ve visited here many times over many years and have watched it evolve. Keep in mind that it is part of the Springfield Country Club complex. It’s also interesting that a Marriott Courtyard recently opened in the complex and as a result they have enjoyed a significant increase in business.
The atmosphere here is the star of the show. There is lots of wood and subdued lighting. The bar is comfortable. On a beautiful summer night it doesn’t get much better than the outside seating. It’s clearly one of the classiest places in Delaware County. So folks come here expecting upscale service and food and they don’t get it. Read on and I’ll explain why I think that is.
The country club does a booming banquet business so much of the staff that touches you at dinner could be working on banquet lunches etc. at other times. So they act like hotel severs and don’t have the refinement you would expect in this beautiful space.
The same is true of the food. There is something for everyone on the menu and it looks and feels just like a hotel menu. The prices are not bad. Chicken Parmesan goes for $ 13 and Salmon Dijon $ 16. It will be OK but you’ll find yourself expecting more.
So to me it’s mismatched expectations. You’re in this gorgeous upscale space and the service and food is what you would expect at a Sheraton. Until they can resolve this mismatch, I’m going with three stars.

Inside the food is great. All of my meals have been up to par. My daughter has had some meals she did not care for, but again, I am generally satisfied. The service is great on the inside, I think that is due to the fact that most servers want to be outside in the warmer months because it is generally hoping out there.
They do turn tables quickly inside, but they will let you sit and dine if you so desire. It’s a good place to go for groups too. I am here, somewhere in the complex, at least 2 – 3 times a month. It is a nice place to go for diner in Springfield.
