The Bean Counter is my go to place for coffee whenever I’m in Springfield. I do not like the new location as much as the previous(at the other end of the strip mall). They had more room and tables at the other spot. Now they are just a small coffee counter with lots of other arts and wares to sell. They still have a great variety of coffee, and they can get you any of their amazing flavors in decaf, which my dad loves. Also, the staff is always super friendly, and the coffee is delicious.

Love this place! Regardless of the city, I always find myself looking for a coffee shop with: 1. A well-made latte 2. Food options 3. Friendly staff 4. Space and wifi to study/do work Spacious and charming interior with booths, make me love this place even more! I can comfortably settle in, break out my computer and get my productivity on while slurping on a latte. Extra star for the latte art(check out the bear photo!). I can’t comment on the food but it looks like the standard café menu — mostly sandwiches. Music was random –Korean pop, but I didn’t mind. Really no other place like this in the Springfield. A gem of café! Will certainly be back!

I went to The Bean Counter with my grandmother to grab coffee and a light breakfast. We were immediately greeted as we walked in by the friendly staff at the counter. We ordered the cinnamon rolls, one frosted and one unfrosted, a regular coffee, and the Caramel Kiss Latte. Everything was tasty! The staff brought out my latte to me once it was ready which is always a nice touch. The atmosphere is a really cute country store environment. There was plenty of space for anyone that wanted a seat, and had it not been raining outside, it would have been nice to sit outside in their patio seating. Overall, great coffee options, great pastry options, and a wonderful cute coffee shop!
