I would give a zero if allowed. Workers engaged in conversations with each other, aisles closed — no one offers to help. If you need held don’t come to this store!

What is going on with this Home Depot location! Over the past 6 months the service just seems to be getting worse and worse! Forget getting help in the tool department — I waited almost a half hour one day to get someone to help me, another day it took 15 minutes. I pre-​ordered/​pre-​paid for hardwood for my contractor to pick up on a certain day, but on pick-​up day they first couldn’t find the order, then they couldn’t find a forklift driver to get it. It took 1.5 hours to get an order that was supposed to be ready to go! It took a conference of 4 clerks to decide where I should look for sheet rock screws. The folks in the paint department are pretty good, but forget about finding anyone knowledgable to help you with pros and cons of carpets. I’ve been to this store in past years where I did get good help, but these days, forget it. I started going to the Home Depot off of Pickett Street instead — there I always get the help I need.

Went there to get a key cut and the employees were extremely rude. They would not help me and would only gave me some half-​assed reason as to why. I was being as nice as I could be, but they would not fully explain to me why they wouldn’t help.

I’m giving this Home Depot 1 star for convenience and parts. The employees (not all) are the most disrespectful and least knowledgeable I have ever experienced.
Incident 1: I asked a girl in floors for assistance with duralock and she ignored as she approached the computer and started typing.
Incident 2: I was trying to find the right size medicine cabinet and I saw small boxes on the third shelf up. I asked this one guy (African) if he could see if the box I’m looking at is the size I need. He looked up and said «no we don’t have any.» So I asked another kid with a beard and he said when we’re done here with an attitude. I went to Windows and this older guy brought a ladder, went up, and pulled multiple ones down as the African guy sat on his lift and watched.
Incident 3: I returned these screws because the guy recommended these brass screws for wood cabinets which stripped and wouldn’t come out. Absolutely horrible and wrong for cabinetry. The lady at return desk gave me the biggest attitude for no reason.
Bottom line most of the employees don’t know their sections, products, or how to do the job themselves. To make it worse, they have bad attitudes which makes me think this is the culture at this Home Depot. Culture comes from management.
Always ask three employees the same question then consider your course of action. But use YouTube first or Google. I have more faith in the Internet.

Lilia Unalivia at the customer service center was great! She was very personable and helped me fix my online transaction with ease. She seemed happy to help and just gave me an overall great experience at this Home Depot.

I have been here several times now with all kinds of problems. Today I took a storm door handle and asked where I would find a screw to put it back on the door. They told me it was an inset screw and all I needed was a hex wrench. They found a hex wrench the size to fit it… done! Will you cut me some chain? …done. Mini Christmas tree… done! Everyone has been knowledgeable about location of stock and home repair problems. I wish I had this Home Depot at home!!!

When it came to upgrading my kitchen, I was blown away by Home Depot’s insufferable cross-​section of shitty big-​box store customer service, inflated prices, inexplicable line item charges, and the opportunity to project manage everything myself since Home Depot’s individual teams for appliances, countertops, flooring, and cabinets do NOT work together. To illustrate, I’ll give you two short hypothetical scenarios:
First: Imagine that you want to get your appliances and floors done. In addition to the cost of the appliances themselves, Home Depot’s appliance team will charge you say $ 250 to unplug your old stove and dishwasher and install the new ones. Then the floor team will charge you that same price to again unplug and reinstall your appliances while they install the floor. If you ask if they can coordinate so that this all happens in sequence (1. take old appliances out 2. install new floors 3. install new appliances) you will get that mouth ajar stare that makes your gut say «the kitchen’s not that bad, I don’t need to deal with this shit right now.» Now imagine adding countertops/​cabinets/​etc and all the associated appliance hookups, plumbing etc and this issue gets exponentially more pronounced.
Second: Imagine you get an in-​store quote for a new floor. You provide your estimated measurements and select your material. The sales rep prepares a quote and goes through it with you. Everything makes sense — materials, labor, delivery, takeaway. Let’s say that quote was $ 4000. Then, in order to proceed, you have to book a $ 30 formal measurement and price quote appointment. Fine, right? A few days later, a guy shows up and takes measurements that match yours to the square foot. He leaves and tells you to check your email for a quote. That email arrives, and your quote is $ 5500. The entire extra $ 1500 is made up of unexplained line item charges like «$ 485 FORMAT UPGRADE» and «$ 425 BASIC PATTERN UPGRADE.» Phone calls to Home Depot for explanation result in answers such as «Oh damn bro that IS weird» and «Well that’s the fee for the format upgrade and basic pattern upgrade” — and the only respite they offer you is a «manager’s special deal» of five percent off. Sweet dudes! Five percent off your unexplained 35% jump! Could you throw in a coupon for 25% off appetizers at Chili’s down the street? That was the exact moment I decided these guys could piss off and go back to cutting spare housekeys.
Home Depot Corporate: Hire some PMPs and offer an in-​store project management service! I’d gladly have paid for this but walked right out of the door due to the complete lunacy you are peddling on your store floor right this moment. I also found SIGNIFICANTLY better prices elsewhere. It would behoove you to figure out that much of your competition seems to have a pulse, brain, and doesn’t look at the floor when I ask questions about what they are charging me for. Figure it out before more of your customers do.

Customer service lacks. Esspecially with Ana Hernandez who is a manager at Home Depot. Went there got gift cards. Went to self check out DIDN’T even swipe my card and had manager, Ana, come to verify ID, then she decided to call credit card company. (Didn’t swipe my card. Usually if you do the computer would state please call credit card company to verify) Also manager walks away with My credit card and ID to where i couldn’t see what see was doing. She could have wrote down my cc info and used it for herself later on. Big no no. Call Home Depot customer service and they annotated to relations. People on the phone even knows not to do that use computer says to call.

I have been a customer of this location for 10 years. During a visit a few years ago, I accidentally left my wallet on a pile of wood (!), and the staff members were honest and returned the wallet to me with no money missing. During my most recent visits, I purchased wood, gardening supplies such as a watering can, and flowers. The employee who cut our wood made sure that it was the appropriate length and that it had a couple of extra inches in case we made a mistake at home. The nursery had a decent selection of plants. The cashier there was cheerful but seemed very annoyed that a barcode was faded and did not scan well. They could greet customers more. Prices have been fine.

I went to the Frontier Rd Home Depot on a Saturday morning with two returns. The woman at the Return Desk was quick, friendly and efficient. It was an easy transaction.
There were plenty of available associates and a couple folks in Hardware helped me find the correct screws for my husband’s license plate.

I came into the store this afternoon and was helped by a staff employee by the name of April. She was knowledgable and extremely helpful. I appreciated the time she took with me as a customer and the fact that she didn’t just point to an aisle to find what I needed. I needed to get in and out of the store in a hurry to make an appointment and with her help, I did just that.

It’s a big box retail store like all others, concrete floors, overworked staff, and super low prices is what they boast and deliver on. They are exactly what I expect!

Home Depot overwhelms me. But this particular store associates are always available and willing to help; which reduces my anxiety towards all the same looking gadgets.
Return/​exchange process is very smooth and they make you comfortable about it too. I guess I’ll be coming here whole lot now.

Terrible customer service. I waited over 20 minutes in the paint department for someone to acknowledge me, even though it was not very busy. The lady who finally helped me was very rude. She acted annoyed when I asked her questions and was not very helpful. So I put my purchases down and went to Lowes instead.

On hold for over 15 minutes! Better call Lowes.

I go to Home Depot a lot, more times than I would like to be lol.
Most of the time I receive good attentive service here. Willie is particularly helpful and friendly, he works in the section with the kitchen hardware and counters.
Decent selections at a reasonable price. Generally priced lower than Lowes.

Came here one late evening just prior to closing. Staff were present everywhere and all acknowledged us and offered to help with anything. We spoke with several staff about locating various items. The self service pay is efficient and there’s always a staff member present to help with any difficult transactions. Parking is easy with their covered garage, especially late night when all the spaces are available!

Very little service in gardening. No one to help you. No one offers to load car. No one comes when paged. No one comes when paged AGAIN. Good luck getting items out of reach. I want to yell «take my money» down the aisles!!! I have driven to lowes much further away to avoid this joint.

As soon as I entered I was greeted and asked what I was looking for. I said cinder blocks. I was directed to its’ exact location without hesitation.
Soon as I walked to the self checkout I was greated by a smiling face. She ninja typed my 2 cinder blocks, 2 bricks, in her CPU as I scanned my energy drank, that’s right, I said drank and with a quick swipe of my card I was on my merry way.
Quick, efficient, and pain free.

This is our go to Home Depot since it is so close. Over the years we have bought paint, drywall, doors, garden stuff, flooring, lighting, basically you name it we’ve bought it here!
I am usually very happy with the customer service. I feel that of all the hardware stores out there, Home Depot as a whole tends to be extremely user friendly and this one is no exception. This store is also well stocked, which is a huge plus for one stop shopping. Personal pet peeve: I hate making multiple trips for the same project!
Fair warning: getting out of the parking lot (unless you go out the back way) can be somewhat of a cluster, especially during peak hours.
