Tucked away in Southern Louisiana about an hour from both New Orleans and Baton Rouge, The Villas at Carter Plantation is your get away from the rigors of everyday life. Our world class golf resort has all of the modern amenities and services of the elite hotels and, at the same time is an escape to the a relaxed air of a more genteel era of gracious Southern living.

History

Established in 2005.

Today’s David Tom’s golf resort incorporates the forests, wetlands and indigenous plants and grasses which has earned Carter Plantation a membership in the elite group of golf courses listed on the Louisiana Audubon Golf Trail, part of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary for Golf Courses program.

Six of the Villas are privately and individually owned and operated. Each Villa has 7 rooms, which 6 are bedrooms. The rooms can be rented individually or as an entire villa to accommodate your getaway!

My background is diversified from non-​profits to four star hotel properties. I received my M.S. in Hospitality, Restaurant, and Tourism Management from the University of New Orleans in 2009.

Since the Villas are privately and individually owned, it is my duty to ensure the property is managed to the most efficient and successful manner, especially with guest satisfaction. I am honored to serve each and every guest that comes in contact with the Villas because you deserve it!

If ever there is anything, please let me know because I cannot address the issue unless I know.

All who stay at the Villas should not want to leave and for those who do leave, should feel like one would love to come back to the solitude of the great Audubon Trail!
