Was a continuous customer of village pizza until they decided to give us the wrong pizza. I went in for pick up and ordered a large pizza with Ham and mushroom I received a Hamburger and mushroom. I was in a rush to get home to my mother who can’t be left alone for along amount of time so I didn’t think to check the pizza before I left. When arriving home I opened the pizza to find the wrong pizza and called to complain. After an argument they Refused to fix their mistake leaving us with a pizza we werent going to eat due to a food allergy.

This was the first pizza place we tried after moving to the area, as it is literally within walking distance from our house. It is a good pizza and is different from the other local places(square pieces) and has a thicker fluffier crust, like the whole pie is thicker and fluffier. The toppings are good, and they have a wide menu of quick lunch type items, grinders, fried things, etc. Certainly worth trying, who knows they might be your favorite!

This is my go to pizza place in Springfield. They are always consistent with their product and it is flavorful and always piping hot and fresh. The times I have ordered elsewhere have been a MAJOR disappointment. I will not be making that mistake again for as long as I am in the delivery range of Village pizza. The crust is soft and full of flavor on its own, the bottom is just slightly crunchy, enough to hold the toppings and not be soggy. The sauce is full of flavor and not sweet like some places, I am not a fan of sauce but I like theirs. The cheese is stringy and also has a nice flavor. Any toppings I have tried have always been good. It has just the right amount amount of grease to make me happy while not being super greasy. The wings and grinders are really good as well. As are the cheesy fries. They are always prompt with the delivery. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but it is well worth it compared to the«competition» in the area. I highly reccomend! 4 stars only because the prices are a bit on the higher side.

No complaints with the food. Always fresh and lots of it. Delivery is 99% of the time, on time. My only complaint is accuracy. The woman that takes the orders seems to have a hard time with computer every time which results in repeating order 3 times and its incorrect or missing food 4 out of 5 times. She is also a little abrasive.

I got a roast beef grinder and it was great! Nice crusty bread, no grizzle and when they wrapped it, they used aluminum foil then paper so it was still hot when I got home. The large is 16″ so enough to share too! I’ll be back, service was friendly too!

I called to pick up a small Village Special Pizza. The pleasant sounding young lady on the phone said 20 minutes. I accepted that and 30 minutes later, I walked in to pick up my pizza. The young lady said the pizza was not quite done yet, so I paid and waited for it finish cooking. 23 minutes after I paid for the pizza that should have been done long ago, my pizza came out of the oven. the young lady said she was sorry it took so long and I took the pizza home. I’m thinking, no big deal. I ordered the pizza that bears their name, so it should be good. I get home and try the pizza. It’s ok. Real Garlic flavor. Then I get to trying to taste the pizza, to distinguish it’s flavor. The crust is crunchy, not too bad, but lacks flavor. No salt. The pizza really had an ample amount of tomatoes, black olives, ricotta cheese, Garlic sauce, but the flavor was… dull? Overall, the pizza gets a 2 out of 5 stars. It’s ok. There are so many pizza places in the area, there was nothing about this experience for this particular pizza, that would cause me to go back. It’s edible, but not memorable. Not worth the extra wait at all. To be extra fair, village Pizza seems to Cator to the Greek side of things. I have had much better Greek type pizza’s. The price was fair, the pizza was cooked ok, but the flavor… well nothing for me to go back for.
