History

Established in 1999.

Jerri was a Registered Nurse at a local hospital in a supervisory position when she got a virus that attached her heart. She stopped working, by Doctor’s orders, in 1996 and by early 1999 she was well enough to want to be productive on the days she felt good. So we bought an embroidery machine, nevermind that she could not sew or embroider!

Windmill started as a hobby, embroidering shirts and Christmas stockings for family. Friends saw what she made and wanted them for themselves and slowly a business began.

Manager

Registered nurse by trade, started Windmill apparel in 1999 as a hobby. I have always loved Embroidery so we started with a home embroidery machine and now we have the industrial embroidery machine and do screenprinting monogramming and promotional products.

I enjoy the day to day interactions with the people and the challenge of creating the designs. Ultimately seeing the smiles on our customers faces when they see the end result is the very best part!
