Luckily found this gem on the edge on at Augustine on a day I had nothing to do. Sampled three of their four house beers on tap and have to say all exceeded my expectations for a local brew. Their coconut porter especially was delicious.

Best beer I’ve ever had is the Honey Blonde! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and they fill growlers. You can bring your dog and play outside, watch TV, play fooseball, or watch TV outside and smoke. I really hate that I live in Georgia, only because of this bar.

Wow. I’ve really been slacking lately in terms of enjoying local St Augustine restaurants and bars. I don’t know how I lived in town for this long and never made it out to Mile Marker Brewery. I’ve enjoyed their beers in local restaurants, but was recently in the area and wanted to give it a shot.
I was a bit shocked at the fact that it is located in an industrial park, but the joint was rocking when we came up. Very welcoming with a lot of friendly folks all around. The large open garage area boasts corn hole, flatscreens, and picnic tables. The inside area featured a small bar, a few tables, pool and darts.
The place is dog friendly, as long as you bring a leash, so I got to make some 4 legged friends as well as those on 2. The bartenders were friendly and courteous. The beer was outstanding. I love craft beer and draft beer that has actual flavor– the blonde was my favorite here. Also really enjoyed the datil pepper beer, but could only handle one of those.
I was really hoping they would have fresh food to munch on– I don’t think they had a kitchen but remembered seeing a food truck, maybe when I come back I will give that a shot. But I will be back– even though this place is off the beaten path, it is a chill place to meet nice people and drink delicious beer. Highly recommended.

This place is in the middle of a industrial park, which is nice as we can usually be as loud as we want. We stopped in with the intention for a beer or two and the bartender el tigre, was just as awesome as can be, The beer is not expensive for a craft beer, is delicious (seriously all of them were great, esp the coconut porter) and the atmosphere and relaxed attitude the bartender had just made this place we stayed all day long. A recommended stop for beer nuts. We plan on stopping through there whenever we can.

Mile Marker is everything you want in a brewery.
I am beyond proud of my local city in the past 4 – 6 years in developing a true craft beer community.
Any place I can walk into and not have a Budweiser or a Coors as an option, immediately earns three stars from me.
Mile Marker is a brewery, it is not a restaurant, one can order delivery easily but you come here for the delicious beer and the truly laid back atmosphere. It is perfect for a Saturday college football game or a 1pm Jaguars game. You have two choices of seating: inside air-​conditioned with the bar and smaller flat-​screens or in the warehouse with pool tables and giant screen TV’s.
Beers of note are the Pecan De Leon Nut Brown Ale offering hints of Bold City Dukes Brown Ale and the Palm Beach Coconut. Having breweries such as this naming their good beers after local locations really making living in North Florida a tad bit bearable.

The beer is amazing and the staff is wonderful! My husband and I have become regulars. Mile Marker is a great, low key place to relax and enjoy some great local brews. The blackberry and honey blonde have to be my favorite!

Arriving later in the evening on a Saturday night, I was surprised to see that the brewery’s bar was open and that the facility seemed wide open in the front. The bar itself was simple with taps upfront on two sides, some game tables and a band playing in the back.
Moving up to the bar, we were happy to try samples and noted there were other breweries on tap there such as Swamp Head and Woodchuck.
To my surprise, the brewery’s beers were fair to okay, in terms of their appeal and quality to me, so I had to take a step back to recalibrate for moment to let the beers warm up each time. I was concentrating on dark ales for the visit.
Having previously tasted both a growler of a very good IPA and the stellar Irish red-​style ale earlier in the evening made by this brewery, I didn’t know what to think. I attributed it to my spoiled beer-​geek tastes and moved from one beer to the next, but nothing really sparked my interest.
Overall, I will look forward to returning to this venue in the future to see how the brewery is progressing.

Once in a while you just have to go out of your way for some local brew, and it brought me to the edges of St Augustine and Mile Marker twice now.
The beers here aren’t anything groundbreaking or spectacular. They’re decent beers, though not a huge variety. It’s not a huge brewery though, can’t expect an expansive selection. The blonde ale is very drinkable, and I’m also a fan of the coconut porter. Their IPAs were too mild and sweet for my taste… nothing that actually registered on my hop-​o-​meter taste buds.
They have a pool and a ping pong table in their outdoor seating, as well as a big screen TV. There was a good number inside as well, along with a couple dart boards.
Some ‘band’ started playing loudly and badly which drove us outside, which was just as well as my allergies were acting up due to their bar dogs. Outside wasn’t much better as the dogs followed and kept trying to play with me. I’m cool with places being animal friendly, but I’m not keen on them being unsupervised.
Service was nothing special, though the bartender did seem a bit miffed about us redeeming a free growler coupon (they were out when we redeemed our Groupon).
I still give it three stars for having drinkable beers and being a fairly relaxing place before the ‘music’ started.

What a fun little place. A friend gave me the tip to check this place out, so on our way back from a St. Augustine weekend get away, we decided to stop.
Super low key, and as others have said, in an actual warehouse and industrial area. I would have never of found them without the tip and happy we did.
There is a large open area with corn hole, a huge flat screen and a few tables. The inside has a nice long bar, giant jenga and the service was real, congenial and warm.
I tried the coconut porter first, so good, light light hints of coconut and the man tried the honey blonde ale. The honey blonde had a nice citrus IPA kick to it that I was not exactly expecting, but as an IPA lover, was pleasantly surprised. That would be a good one for the hot dog days of summer for sure.
Next up, the red and Imperial IPA. Yes! Very good red and of course I loved the IPA.
The owner pulled up while we were there and his 2 dogs came running up to great us! (Super awesome pups… and just added to the laid back vibe.)
Now that I know where they are… I have a spot to relax and enjoy a cold one after a long day of outlet shopping. Will definitely be back. :)

Mile Marker hits the mark.
The first time I went I did wonder where the heck I was being taken. Nestled in a warehouse in an industrial park of of I-​95, Mile Marker is a rare gem in a rather unsuspecting area.
It offers a variety of styles of beer; my favorite being the Coconut Porter. It’s just a lad back group of guys trying to serve good beer and give the surrounding area a comfortable relaxed atmosphere to hang out in.

Day trip to St. Auggie?
My girlfriend had purchased a living social deal to this brewery, since we both share a new found love for breweries. SO we couldn’t pass it up. We managed to stumble over to the warehouse. Much to our surprise Mile Marker was very lively. With a little blue grass band to a large variety of games. We tried the sampler to find out what beer we were going to like. I found myself really enjoying the Pecan DeLeon Nut Brown. The bartender was friendly. Unfortunately the were out of the growlers that came with our deal, but she was more than happy to compensate us and offer us free beer… and give us an I.O.U for our growler. I really loved our trip to Mile Marker.

The beer isn’t as cheap as some of the breweries that I’ve gone to, but the place is still great. If you’re looking for a relaxed time, MMB has everything you need. They have a pool table, ping pong table, two cornhole setups, two dart boards, jenga, fish tanks, lots of open space, and, most importantly, great beer. O and evidently you can bring your dog.
I tried most of their beers, but I can’t really identify one as being miles above (or below) the rest. They were all pretty tasty.
They don’t sell pitchers, but they do have growlers to go.

Actually found this brewery using my Unilocal app on my smartphone, and even though I mistakenly thought that they had also served food, once I arrived, I decided to try a beer anyway. I’m glad I did, since this microbrewery is run by some friendly people and they make some good beer. Mile Marker Brewing is in a warehouse, set in an industrial area near the St. Augustine Outlets. There’s a bar area and a separate game room (with pool tables) next to the bar area (the bar area is in a smaller room). The bar area also has a TV, which was tuned into a soccer game when I was visiting.
After viewing the brewery’s menu of different beers (they have a lot of beers with names based on the Florida Keys and St. Augustine history), I decided to try a key lime kolsch. It was tasty and had a nice hint of lime in the beer. I’d definitely recommend the beer and also this brewery to others.

Hey its a brewer in a vaguely industrial park in a dark part of town. Aren’t all small tap rooms like that? Went after trying the stout at GAS because of the recommended coconut porter. The porter is awesome and they have growler service as well. Even have some other local taps. Nicely appointed and friendly if I lived there I would be a regular, I don’t but I’d stop again right off I95 so it could be an on the road stop and go.

A little hard to find, but defi. worth the drive if in St. Augustine. It’s near the outlets.
Good prices, staff was super friendly. They have the $ 20 for $ 10 offer so we redeemed that offer while there. There is a BBQ guy set up outside, I wish I knew because we ate before heading here… it smelt amazing.

Good beer, atmosphere, and service. Found it on Unilocal in preparation for a mini-​vacay to St. Augustine and it did not disapoint.
We had the sampler and all of the beers were good but the coconut porter was my favorite. Just a hint of coconut, not overpowering. Prices were reasonable too.

I like to think I’m fairly hip to most of the north /​north central Florida brewers, but I had never even heard of this brewery. I can’t remember exactly how it came about, but I remember talking to some girl who brought it up while I was waiting in line for the bathroom at Swamp Head Brewery’s tasting room — The Wetlands (Excellent place if you haven’t been).
Well, it just so happened that I was going to be in St. Augustine for a few days the following week, and it would be a crime not to visit it. It’s not too hard to find — just go towards the outlet malls by I95 and follow your google maps from there.
The first thing I noticed when I rolled up to the warehouse was that they didn’t look like they were capable of too much capacity. The goods news is, they have plenty of space to grow :)
We walked into the tasting room on an early Wednesday afternoon — not exactly prime time tasting hours, but there were a few other people in there. My girlfriend went for the sampler, which is probably a good thing to do at a new brewery, but I went all in on the coconut porter.
First off, I love a good coconut porter. I was originally turned on to this style in Hawaii when I tried Maui Brewing’s coconut porter. Problem is, 1) I don’t live in Hawaii, and 2) it’s very hard to find or expensive to ship from the places that do stock it (quick plug for Blackwell’s Wine and Spirits in San Francisco).
How did Mile Marker’s Coconut Porter stack up to Maui Brewing’s? I say just as good or better :) FYI, the OBP Toasted Coconut Porter is pretty good too, but I can hardly ever find it. I tried Kona Brewing’s Koko Brown, hoping it would be a good substitute since it’s easy to find around here, but I wasn’t impressed.
So enough about the Coco Porter… I was impressed with the rest of their lineup as well (trying my girlfriend’s sampler). We didn’t care too much for the Mile Marker Zero with the honey addition, but it was interesting to try. Noticed they didn’t have a stout in their lineup either.
The tasting room has plenty of room, and the bar is very big. The staff we did meet, were very friendly. The prices on the beer were good, and even better for the happy hour prices :) My only complaint was that the skeeball machine was a $ 1/​play — which is kind of expensive. And it’s not like it was giving out any tickets towards beer! The darts are free though. Just watch the bullseye on the left board. It’s pretty worn out (definitely not my doing).
Oh, and try the bbq from the guy outside selling it. Some of the best chicken I’ve had in a while, and I hear the ribs are really good too.
So next time you get dragged to the outlet malls, make sure you drag her (or him) to the tasting room afterwards (or before — or skip the outlet malls altogether)

Mile Marker Brewing is a North East Florida gem. No one in the area is matching what the gang there is doing. Two of Mile Markers new mainstays are the Honey Kolsch and the Pecan De Leon. The Honey Kolsch features local wildflower honey that is sure to please the sweetest of palates and is perfect during our hot sultry summer nights. The Pecan De Leon is a nut brown ale that features a nice aray of area grown pecans which isn’t overly hoped therefore not deystroying ones thoughts of what a beverage from the antibellim would be. The Brewers at Mile Marker are keeping the American Dream alive by refusing to use any ingredients from overseas, thus helping our fellow countrymen. And why bother, us American citizens need to see small local businesses flourish to keep this country on the right path.

Stopped by the tap room for the first time and it’s kinda away from everything. It’s located in a warehouse so the outside does not look like much. We walked in and they have a nice set up inside. Blue lights on the wood bar looks pretty sharp. There was plenty of room and had the typical bar games. They had three beers on tap Kolsch, Red, and IPA all were very good. The bartender was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the product. They unfortunately did not have any growler bottles so we were unable to take any home to enjoy but the next time we are in the area we will be sure to stop.
