History

Established in 1996.

The firm of Thompson Bailey Baker was established over 75 years ago in St. Augustine, Florida. In 1996, John Bailey’s son, Mark Bailey secured the firm’s principal lines of business associated with health, life, retirement benefits and financial products, and incorporated the entity into what is now known as The Bailey Group, one of the most progressive and well respected firms in Florida.

As President of The Bailey Group, Mark Bailey has built upon the foundation of a trusted local insurance agency and developed the company into a nationally competitive firm. Mark was voted the «Best of St. Augustine» Local Insurance Agent in the St. Augustine Record multiple years, and has been a member of the Million Dollar Round Table for the past 26 years, included in the top 1% of agents nationwide.

Mark makes himself personally available to meet with any client, and encourages his employees to build the same kinds of lasting relationships.

Mark, along with nearly every Bailey Group employee, is involved in leadership roles and service projects within the community. Whether it is the Chamber of Commerce, the YMCA, the Flagler Healthcare Foundation, American Cancer Society, Community Hospice, Flagler College, or others, it is evident that The Bailey Group strives to fulfill its mission with vitality: «Life.
