Bobby’s Place

The night before Thanksgiving we had stopped at a few other spots but this one held our attention! First of all the door guy was funny and fun, great start. They had $ 1 Long Islands and they were really good! We walked in and were greeted by fun loving staff ready to help us have the best night possible. The bartender was full of life and a blast! They had a Dj and that was a nice touch along with a decent dance floor. There was seating in the alleyway which seems pretty awesome but I didn’t notice it until they were bringing the furniture in. The drinks were great, the staff was fun and the prices were awesome. We felt welcomed and had a blast — we will be back, this may be my new favorite place. Great staff makes allll the difference in the world. Keep it up, hopefully we will be back soon!

I had to blow a whistle to get service. The bartenders were always offsides the pizza was penalized for icing.

This place is awesome don’t know why the bad reviews. Waitstaff is fun and inviting. Food is pretty good. Drink specials are great.

I stopped in to Bobby’s tonight after work to have a drink and a quick bite to eat. The bartender Kayla immediately grabbed me a cold Bud Light then recommended I try the Pepper Jack Bites… AMAZING! She was fast, friendly, and always made sure my beer wasn’t empty. I hadn’t eaten lunch so after I finished the Pepper Jack Bites I tried their Toasted Ravioli… another great choice. I’ll definitely return, thanks Kayla!

If you want to listen to two cute blonde bartenders cuss their way into the Profanity Olympics while regaling an empty joint with their latest Facebook follies, then this place is for you.
I will say their all-​day happy hour drink specials made my wallet feel good, though I wouldn’t trust the food.

This place has painfully awful service. Im used to very slow service here, but this last visit will be my last ever to this horrible place full of extremely rude people. It took almost 20 minutes for someone to ask me if I needed a drink. After I place my order, they go on to talk to friends for another 20 minutes. I never received anything, I left and will never be back.

Walk into a total little dive bar on St Patrick’s Day weekend but had the best loaded fries I have ever had and our bartender Jessica was the best. She seemed to be doing some sort of training with the other girls behind the bar
and on the floor but she was very attentive and friendly and we had great service. I highly recommend this bar. It is fun and friendly.

Wishing I could give them zero stars, it was absolutely horrible service. I’ve never gotten great service there, but I’ve also never had a real problem until today. It took over 20 minutes and we got nothing but attitude for a party of 12 servers/​bartenders that WANTED to spend money! The bartender had an extreme attitude problem. We sat without drinks as she looked, laughed, and talked to regulars at the bar about it. Three of us finally got our first drink after 20−30mins. They were not even what we ordered! Luckily, a newer server named Beth saved the day! Thanks for turning our friends birthday around Beth!

Some people define heaven as a place that you see all of your relatives and experience eternal happiness… I define it as Roberts Place… Techno, Midgets, Affliction, Lights, Bros and Bros… If I only go one place for the rest of my life it will be Bobbys… And only Bobbys

Three dollar cover for sticky floors, broken light fixtures, and obnoxious music. Didn’t even give a break on the cover charge to a fireman.

It is what it is people! Bobby’s Place is not a super trendy upscale bar, but me and friends had a blast on a Saturday night hanging out and drinking good drinks. Simple! We thought it was funny our shoes were sticking like glue to the floors. Its just a regular bar with super awesome service I think. gotta give those girls credit, they rock here! Big TVs to watch the game, its simple but great for a good night out. I enjoyed it here.

If you like drinking with a bunch of 18 year olds than this place is for you! Floors are sticky with vomit on them and I saw bouncer kick girl out by her hair. um totally unacceptable! Maybe thats why they shouldnt let underage people in.

Decided to stop in here for a bite to eat before the Ambush game.
This is a nice sports bar on Main Street. Its nestled in between many others so make sure you don’t blink when trying to locate it.
There are plenty of TV’s airing just about any game you want to see. You have a good view of a TV no matter where you sit. Staff was super friendly, eager to serve and always had us with a refill if need be.
They have some great game specials, including half off appetizers and cold cheap beer. We ordered the pretzel bites, along with our drinks and main dish orders (burgers and chicken sandwiches). If you’re a fry fan, you must get their cottage fries. They are delicious!
It is a bit smoky so be prepared for that but don’t let that stop you from having a great time!

As we took in the annual Festival of the Little Hills, hunger pangs overtook our stroll through the cobblestone streets of downtown St Charles. Not a bad place to get bar food type grub, but they still allow smoking inside. …yuck! The only saving grace was the doors and windows were open. Be warned that if you order the «hot» wings or buffalo potato skins, they have a spicy sweet bbq sauce instead of the traditional buffalo sauce.

Great bar, ladies behind the bar are friendly and pretty. Great steak especial on tuesday…

Was in downtown St. Charles and decided to stop in and watch a little of the Rams preseason game. It’s a nice little sports bar. There are plenty of tv’s everywhere so no matter where you sit you have a good viewof the game. They have some great happy hour and game day specials. Half off most appetizers, $ 5 pitcher, $ 5 small pizzas, and 50 cent wings. They also sold 40 oz. Beers, brought back memories long since forgotten. Although it is somewhat smoky, a little bit of a turn off for me.
Typical bar fair as far as food goes. I ordered 6 wings and their evil southwest burger. The food came out fairly quick but, the waitress brought both the appetizer and my burger at the same time. A true pet peeve of mine. Once I finished the wings the fries were starting to get cold.
The wings were Ok, a little sweet for my taste. They tasted more like bbq sauce with a little buffalo sauce mixed in. I should have ordered the xtra hot ones instead. The buger came out well done, the waitress asked how I would like it cooked, I had requested medium rare. Although it was well done the burger was rather tasty. Looking at their specials they seem to have great deals every day. I will give it another try.

I don’t know if it was the early 20s kids (or younger! … I swear some of the younger girls seemed younger than 21), or the random girls coming up to me saying «let me know if you want a stripper» (!) or the watered down hard alcohol or the random idiot who couldn’t understand how NOT to spill drinks on my pants … or a combination of the above that turned me off to this place. The DJ wasn’t especially good, either.
Advice to the establishment is to 1) get bouncers who can detect a fake ID and common sense to kick the jailbait out, 2) establish rules against having hookers/​strippers come to the place, 3) clean up in general. Later in the evening I definitely saw more than one St. Charles cop car hanging out in front, just waiting for trouble to happen. If I had stayed till closing, I’m sure I would have seen some of the area’s finest bust some underage/​idiotic/​hooker types.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy looking at young girls that are in shape and scantily clad. But it shouldn’t be forced, definitely shouldn’t be illegal, and I’d bet money that if the Weighs and Means commission inspected the place and how they make the drinks they’d find the alcohol content watered down.
I won’t be returning and telling folks who go on business to the area to avoid Booby’s (not a typo).

There is a new location for this restaurant and it is in downtown Saint Louis on Washington Ave just east of Tucker! When you enter this place your expectations are going to be low, it appears to be a high cost sports bar. It is a sports bar but, surprisingly, it has pretty good food. I got the Tuesday special a strip steak with 2 sides for $ 10.99. My steak I ordered medium and it came out a bit overdone but still tender and tasty. I got the smashed potatoes as a side and they were quite good and steaming hot.
My daughter got the tuna and she was satisfied with it. I have also tried the cole slaw and it was pretty good. For the neighborhood you could do a lot worse.

The food here was really good. I’m a bit surprised because this place has a full bar food menu (burgers, sandwiches, appetizers) but they don’t seem interested in acting like it’s a restaurant. They were nearly empty at 5PM and most patrons were only drinking. They gave the drinkers a lot more attention. So sorry, so hungry.
Maybe this place is different when there’s a game on or if you’re a college student. While I loved my cheese-​stuffed burger, I felt like I didn’t belong and that’s not always a great feeling.
