The greater St. Louis community offers a huge variety of activities, social events, and support for seniors, adults with disabilities, and retirees. We refer caregivers whose services allow clients to remain living in their own homes, but that certainly doesn’t mean they have to stay at home! Griswold Home Care referral staff are very knowledgeable about activities in the St. Louis area. We are happy to refer caregivers who will provide transportation/​accompaniment to those wishing to visit the botanical gardens, the zoo, the history museum, a weekly bingo game, church groups, classes for seniors at the community college, and many other adventures and outings that St. Louis has to offer. For those wishing to stay home, or who are unable to go out, we can refer elder care professionals who are happy to participate and facilitate activities such as gardening, board games, and movie nights.
