Meet the Business Owner

Erin W.

Business Owner

Erin Wigginton, Helping Hounds Training’s owner and head trainer, began her career in dog training in 1999. After 6 years of using traditional methods of training, she was introduced to force-free training when traditional training wasn’t effective for her newly adopted pitbull, Ava. Since 2005, Erin has used exclusively force-free training techniques and has never regretted the decision to abandon the outdated methods of traditional training. After working with hundreds of dogs, many of them breeds which are often labeled as «stubborn», «stupid» or even «untrainable», she has yet to find a behavioral problem which cannot be improved through force-free training.
