The INN at St.George

You get what you pay for. Obvious maintenance issues, uncomfortable beds, and my wife said the young girl at the front desk seemed like she was irritated at any questions she was asked.
We DID have a large room, which was nice for three people, and we had a little mini-​fridge and freezer and microwave.
The location of the hotel is great, right in the heart of downtown St. George.
Overall they could really benefit from some room renovations, even if it means upping the price a bit. Would gladly pay a little extra to feel more comfortable. Otherwise, we won’t be returning.

Only put one star because I have to. A single pane window that was not tempered and out of code was broken by a child who backed up to get out of the way of some other children. The window should never have broken, and definitely should not have shattered into shards. Had the child lost his balance and fallen he’d have been seriously injured. The GM is extremely rude, treated the customer horribly and is requiring the customer to pay. They even threatened to charge someone else’s card! This property is unethical to say the least. There are many other places to stay in this town. …keep driving.

My son’s baseball team stayed at this hotel for a tournament over the weekend. The boys were standing outside the lobby while the adults checked in. One of the boys backed up to move out of way of other kids way and his butt literally tapped the window, where it shattered and cut his arm! This was a single pane window which we were told was not up to code. Now this place wants her to pay for a window that is up to code. So not only do they want her to pay for something she didn’t break, they also have changed their story multiple times about what happened, getting bids, ect. The general manager was also very rude and snotty and did not know how to handle the situation. I do not recommend coming here at all. Customer service blows!!! And side note: for a suite… NO coffee pot???

This place sucks. I found a cockroach in my room and the front desk told me they’re common in the area. He told me to kill it, and since they’re common I’m scared they’re going to climb into my bed… I think I feel one on my leg…

My friends and I used Hotel Tonight to book a room here. That was $ 48 for one night and one full sized bed. Since there was four of us, we upgraded to a two full sized bed room for $ 11 more. This was coming in between 10:45 pm and 11:15 pm. The front desk lady is so sweet and helpful. At 11 pm, she goes to her room and you’re supposed to knock on her door for «after hour service.» I really appreciated the friendliness and ease of change.
Overall, the rooms are a bit dinky, but it has drawers, a mini fridge, microwave, television, and seating area. I used the toilet and it wouldn’t go down but it turns out the water refills super slow, so I had to be patient before flushing. The faucet isn’t centered with the sink either, which was just plain funny.
The room comes with towels and toiletries, too. I had brought my own just in case, but I’m pretty happy I didn’t need to bust it out. One other thing was the bed being weird (like a beanbag almost) and the sheets smelled of chlorine or bleach.
Also, the front lady said «thanks for ‘poppin’ in» (lol.) and gave us complimentary popcorn. And we were very happy to hear there is continental breakfast from 7 am — 10 am.
So yes, the rooms weren’t exactly the best, but it worked for a one night stay, and the service and little surprises made it a fun surprise and an enjoyable stay.

For the price $ 93.00 total (including the $ 25.00 pet fee) it was ok. It was somewhat remodeled. The only complaint I have is that it is super noisy. Every door slamming, conversation and air conditioner was really loud. Also the bed was not the most comfortable. But it was a bed!

Everything is loud! Paper thin walls (I can hear my neighbors tv and fight), uncomfortable loud bed (sounds like an air mattress) thick hard awful pillows. No tub. This building is old and run down (doors are difficult to close). They have tried to make it look nice but it’s like putting lip stick on a pig — pointless! Total was $ 60.25 after taxes… you get what ya pay for I guess. The knights inn is crap too but at least the bed wasn’t loud and it was okay to sleep on. No hot tub here or knights inn.

This hotel is alright priced but the «suite» is super basic. The mattresses are something I would purchase for a small child. Beding was mediocre. I afraid of what this place was like before“renovations”. Breakfast was not stocked. There was no coffee, yogurt, eggs, or orange juice left. There was still 45 minutes until breakfast was over… no attendant on duty. I will not be returning…

We stayed at the Inn two times on our recent trip. This place is a real find: very low rates with a clean comfortable room and full cable TV and wifi with an included breakfast with freshly made waffles! Why pay more? It is perfectly located in the center of town within a few minutes walk of some very good restaurants.

The additional star is because the woman who checked us in was nice. According to her, we got a suite, not sure if that was correct. The restroom smelled of urine, similar to a public restroom. The carpet was dirty and sticky so much so that I had to wipe my feet with a wet towel to take whatever it had off, afterward I walked around in my sandals. Yes, I understand this is not a five star resort, but our stay was not good at all. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and squeaked with the slightest movement. It appeared dark and dingy. We were told that they have renovated the rooms, but I have to disagree based on our room. Also, the shower drain was clogged and did not drain properly. Many things appeared broken or did not look well made, please see photos.
We also tried to see if we can have a later checkout since we were going on an adventure tour with a guide and would not be back until the evening. No exceptions were made, they didn’t even offer to charge a bit more or tried to make any accommodations for us. The sad thing about this is the only reason we stayed at this hotel is because we got it as a package deal with adventure hub so thee hotel knows their guests are gone all day! The hotel said it was full, but that’s not correct because there weren’t many cars in the parking lot and initially the woman said there was enough room in the hotel, but story changed when we requested a later checkout time. So our checkout was at 7 am when we were picked up for our tour. Also, adventure hub is great, they offer great tours and great guides. If you do adventure hub you don’t have to stay at this hotel.

Friendly staff and price. But the wifi drive me crazy. Never connect more than a minutes. Also there is no hair dryer in the room.

I’m gonna give it only two stars cause it drives me up the freaking wall that they (and a million other places) advertises free wifi that NEVER works. How hard can it be to actually get internet working. How would people react if all of a sudden the free included breakfast was gone when they advertised it? If you advertise wifi then make bloody sure it works and don’t just give me a tit for tat about this that and what not. I’m a freaking computer scientist I know how wifi works and lack of bars has nothing to do with storms in northern Utah!
Oh and ps. What the hell is up with the rubber/​plastic bag sheets on the mattresses. That’s gross and disgusting to sleep on.
This place just bugs me. 4 tables in the breakfast room for 100 rooms. Wonder how that will go down on a busy morning
NOT RETURNING HERE. If you want internet that works and a comfortable bed drive the 10 miles to the travelodge in Hurricane.

Older motel but clean and comfortable. Their pricing is very competitive, even by St. George standards. Located right downtown, good restaurant choices are nearby. They serve a bountiful continental breakfast.
They have wide range of channel selections on their TVs. After knocking around in the deserts of Utah and Arizona for over a week, we were able to settle into our room to enjoy the Giants/​Diamondbacks game. And the staff was very efficient and friendly.
A minor idiosyncrasy:
Their ice machine may be the slowest I’ve ever encountered.

Above expectations. Nice clean room with granite areas. New paint and TV. Pleasant receptionist. Good central location that one can walk to places.

Reasonably priced, clean large rooms with micro and fridge. The big plus is being able to walk to restaurants in the cute little old town. The air conditioner is one of those that noisily turns on and off all night, with no fan setting. Free wifi works and there are easily accessed plug ins.
Nothing fancy, but better price than the chain motels, with breakfast included. Waffle makers and toaster too.

Great place to stay. Not fancy but clean and friendly. Even went the extra mile to provide continental breakfast at 3:30 for marathon runners.
The beds are not bad for comfort but the bed frame sticks out. I have a bruise from whacking my leg on it so many times.
The pool was refreshing.

Booked The Inn @ St. George last minute for the 4^th of July when our campsite near the Grand Canyon was rained out. We were on a road trip and used the Hotel Tonight app to book.
The rooms were on the small side, but just fine for a night or two. Room was clean and the staff was very friendly. A mini fridge in the room and free breakfast were a definite plus.
The location is also fantastic. Right on the main strip with plenty of restaurants and a pharmacy nearby.
Bathroom shower was a little odd — a dark, small stall shower, but other than that the room was fine for the two of us. Ice machine was also broken, but the front desk attendant was giving out ice he had purchased at the store nearby.
Overall, grateful this cute little space popped up on our trip. A life saver!

Stayed here on a road trip after booking a cheap last-​minute room on Hotel Tonight. We ended up arriving after 11pm, but the staff was very accommodating with a late check-​in. The room was small but adequate, and it even had a mini-​fridge. The linens and bathroom were clean, although I killed one cockroach during the stay (and also found a dead moth by the air conditioning unit). In the morning, the breakfast was pretty good with waffles, yogurt, and coffee.
Overall, it was totally worth the $ 73 spent on Hotel Tonight, and I would stay there again. Thanks!

Uncomfortable beds, broken air conditioner and cockroaches. No hairdryer in the room — you have to check it out from the front desk. Breakfast waffle makers are near the front door of the «lobby», basically an entryway with a reception desk. We paid $ 90 and it wasn’t worth $ 50. Keep looking.

What can you say about a cheap, clean motel? Familiar. Like an old girlfriend. Or maybe a new one.
Located on a pedestrian or walking street along the old town albertsons in city. The hotel is an old building but well renovated into a 3 hotel.
We requested for an early check-​in, but the don’t do that at motels, we request for a late check-out,…they seemed surprised we wanted to stay, even on a off season time, some hotel would not have approved it.
The reception personnel were very helpful in advise on what to do in the city.
Breakfast were good, will fresh fruits and juices, fried eggs, sliced salmons and everything you would want for breakfast.
Room Tip: ask the hotel for the entrance address, we got the hotel address which happen to be along the walkin…
We stayed at the here for 2 nights a few days before Christmas 2010 and it was everything I hoped it would be. It’s well located off the Main Street and the main Pizza Hut and Mc Donald’s right down the way. and room we paid for (the attic loft deluxe) was probably the best pay-​by-​the-​hour room I’ve ever stayed in. The walk to get breakfast was good enough to make for a great morning.
I would recommend booking at least one day in advance. They aren’t usually full… unless there is a soccer tournament, or a softball tournament, or a baseball tournament, or a marathon… you get my drift
