Specialties

Pride Mountain Vineyards is a small family owned winery that dedicates itself to producing the finest possible wines from its estate vineyards. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Chardonnay, Sangiovese, Syrah and Viognier are all grown on site. Visitors are warmly welcomed to the scenic property and a number of guest experiences are offered, based on availability and the size of the group. Appointments should be made well in advance, as they are required by the winery’s use-permit and weekends (and even weekdays in the summer and fall) book up early. Please call the winery or email contactus@pridewines.com for further information and assistance with your reservation.

History

Established in 1989.

Situated at the top of Spring Mountain at 2100 feet and straddling the Napa/Sonoma county line, Pride Mountain Vineyards was established by Jim and Carolyn Pride in 1989. Twenty years later, the winery is actively managed by Jim and Carolyn’s children, Steve Pride, who works closely with winemaker, Sally Johnson, and Suzanne Pride Bryan. Great emphasis is put on marrying the very best vineyard practices with great attention to detail in the cellar in order to bring out the finest expression of the winery’s eighty-two acres of estate-grown fruit. The resulting wines have been served many times at The White House and continue to be critically acclaimed by The Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator and many other major wine publications. An enthusiastic and gracious team of winery staff members welcomes guests by appointment and genuinely enjoys sharing their knowledge of the wines and the property.

Meet the Manager

Tim B.

Manager

Tim Bouchet, a California boy, born and bred, joined Pride Mountain Vineyards in January 1998 as the winery’s Director of Retail Sales. Responsible for developing the winery’s tasting room experiences and for the on-going staff education programs that keep everything fresh, Tim is the spark that keeps the front of the house humming. Integral to all aspects of our consumer-direct program, he also manages our Napa Valley restaurant and retail sales, drawing on his years of restaurant experience before joining the winery. An avid cyclist, Tim is often up before the chickens to fit a fifteen mile ride in before work. He also coaches his son’s lacrosse team and is a Cheer Dad, traveling throughout the state with his wife, Natalie, for his daughter’s cheering competitions.
