Since 1979 we have specialized in early childhood development. We are state licensed for kids 2 – 12 years of age. Our focus is on love, language arts, and socialization in an environment that is fun, clean, and traditional where children gain confidence outside the home through a large variety of activities they wouldn’t otherwise experience. This confidence building makes for a child that is more at ease in challenging situations and prepares them for diverse scenarios that would otherwise cause stress for them; like the first day of Kindergarten or the transition to middle school.

History

Established in 1979.

Founded by Mrs. Georgene Resney in 1979 so that she could use her degrees in Early Childhood Education to work with children while still being able to have her son with her.

What started with a one building Daycare, expanded to offer a dedicated Preschool in a separate facility on 41 and an to an AMAZING after school and Summer Camp on 3 acres next to the Daycare building.

Li’l Rascals is now owned and operated by Lisa and Geoff Resney who in the same spirit have their 4 children enrolled daily, and strive to maintain the unique child first facility that makes us so special to so many kids in our community.

Business Owner

Lisa and Geoff are the second generation owner/​operators of Li’l Rascals in saint john, Indiana. They have four children who attend daily and one of them are onsite almost always. Together they work hard with a dedicated and amazing long term staff to continue the traditional excellence that was started by Georgene Resney in 1979 when Geoff was only 2. The successful transition of their oldest kids to Kindergarten and into 3^rd grade have proven to them that the Rascals Academy system works and helps to produce talented, confident, happy and smart children!
