History

Established in 2014.

Paul Cockram, owner and Senior tech, is an A+ Certified Computer technician who ran ECM Computers, Inc., in Maryland. Also a Pastor, his ministry brought him to St Joe in 2006. He ran PC’s PCs doing computer repair on the side. After his daughter lost 4 iPhones to either broken screens or water damage, he decided that there has to be a better option than paying $ 270 per incident at the «Genius Bar», where they simply traded her phone for someone else’s repaired phone.

He researched and found a training class where he could learn and be certified for virtually any kind of cellphone and Tablet repair. After he became Level 3 Certified, he opened PC’s PCs & Portables, working from a shop in his home. He then opened the storefront location in November 2014 on S Belt Hwy, directly across the street from Hilltop Motors, just south of Pizza Hut and the old Nodaway Valley Bank building, next to Dickens Insurance.
