Tiscornia Park Beach

We never would have known this existed had it not been for the front desk clerk at Four Winds. We told him we were thinking of going to the dunes in the morning and he recommended this beach instead. Great advice. There were only a few other groups there and it was a nice beach. They did have rest rooms on site. I imagine the dunes would have been much more crowded. We could also see Silver Beach from where we were and it looked crowded. This is a hidden gem for sure. Check it out.

I should give Tiscornia a low rating to deter the rif-​raff, but I just can’t. Being a local, I visit Tiscornia at LEAST once per week. I’m glad that they’ve started charging for parking, because it keeps the crowds down and brings revenue to the city.

Loved this park! Beautiful family photo op! Pretty family friendly & a Lighthouse to boot! Bathrooms were dirty, but what do you expect at a beach. Day two of going the parking pass machine wasn’t taking cash, a bit frustrating, but the beach made up for it!
