Holiday Inn St. Louis-Airport

Not brilliant but convenient to the airport. The wifi is dreadful and more than frustrating. Can barely connect and the speeds rival that of my 1998 dial up connection. Internet seems to be an issue with many IHG hotels, however.

Not horrible… but NOT good either. Decent rates, food was as described in menu, and the location was good. Room was typical… except for the hint of the smell of dried urine!?! Not noticeable as long as the air conditioner was going… but really? Not a first choice to return to!

Clean updated rooms. Friendly staff. Large outside pool with cold clean water along with plenty of seating. Downside is that they don’t have dual queen bed rooms and their restaurant is extremely small

Service was excellent! Food was pretty typical of breakfast food. Eggs done okY, sausage patties were fine, pancakes okY, too. Coffee was very good. Service was again Excellent!
Over all it was above average. Good enough to remember after a year. Met my brother there two times now!

Older property with smaller rooms. My bathtub/​shower really only had lukewarm water and the stool is like a foot off of the floor-​weird. People are friendly enough and that makes up for many shortcomings. Pool is outdoors and fitness center is well equipped with weights and cardio machines. Lounge is nice but in the basement. Wi-​fi is hit and miss and slower but think it has more to do with being an older building. Location is convenient and appreciate the free parking. My room did have an updated flat screen HDTV. All in all it is a clean comfortable room despite some flaws.

Clean updated rooms, Comfortable beds hot showers, attentive and helpful staff. Buisiness center does not charge for copies and faxes at least for us. There is a free shuttle every 20 minutes from airport or metro. I would stay here again when visiting son at University.

I booked a room for a friend who was visiting from out of town. The hotel clerk insisted on getting my credit card so I gave it to him. My friend later decided he wanted to stay at a different hotel so I called and cancelled, several days before the stay.
Imagine my surprise when I opened my credit card bill and saw a charge from this hotel! I called the hotel and asked what was going on. Their answer was they charged me for one night because I didn’t cancel. I replied that I had most certainly cancelled and even gave them the date I called, the approximate time, and the first name of the man who took my call. They wanted a «cancellation number.» I said I didn’t keep it because the man didn’t tell me I had to keep and I suggested they just look up the cancellation by my name. Their answer was they can only look up cancellations by cancellation number and if I didn’t have it, I wouldn’t get a refund. They said every cancellation was handled this way. I couldn’t believe my ears. What a racket!
I have made sure ever since then that no one I know stays at that hotel. They have paid the price for their dishonesty many times over.

I genuinely like staying in Holiday Inn’s, but I will never stay in this one again! The WIFI is HORRIBLE!!! You have to re log-​in every hour. Want to do some work while in the lounge or restaurant? Too bad… no signal.
I had a Reuben for dinner… tasted like wet asphalt. Had a breakfast burrito in the morning… I couldn’t even cut through the shell with a knife it was so leathery.
The toilet was set so far under the vanity that the lid wouldn’t stay up. Great if you are a girl, very inconvenient if you are a guy.
The only positive thing I can say was that the front desk associates were very friendly but, overall, this was a VERY negative stay.

The rooms are average and the restaurant is small, but this hotel is perfect for a business travel or one night.

Updated, but average Holiday Inn. Internet access seems solid and it’s free. Small restaurant and bar with average food. Nothing of interest within walking distance.
