Park 44 Apartments

This place is terrible. I subleased in April and two weeks into me living there I found a cockroach. I reported it and then they sprayed. Dead roaches started popping up here and there, which I know means the spray is working. But then some time later I found more lively ones, so they sprayed again all the while telling me the previous tenant never complained about roaches. Who cares? They’re here now I don’t care about the past!
Then! They were still coming around so I suggested they spray my apartment and my neighbors, so they did (allegedly). So recently I found a dead one in my bathroom! I have a loft and the bathroom is upstairs. Before I never had an issue with them upstairs. It was a dead one but I complained again threatening to file a complaint with the state. They made a bunch of excuses about the weather, etc. I mean weather? Really? Because it’s hot? Wow, has St. Louis never had a hot sumemr before? Is this a fluke? I think not!
So they sprayed AGAIN. A few days later I now notice MORE ROACHES!!! They’re lively and coming out of the KITCHEN CEILING!!! Now I don’t even want to use my kitchen!
I also forgot to mention that I have also used my own stuff to get rid of them! Now tomorrow morning before I go to work I will put a Raid roach bomb on top of my refrigerator and let it go.
It’s one thing if the roaches are dead, but alive? No thanks. So gross. And I really don’t care if no one else in the building complains. I care about me! And also what’s weird is that as I am writing this, there is a dead cockroach in the laundry room! And in another corner is a practically fossilized roach!
It’s so sad that this is my first time living alone and I haven’t even been able to enjoy it. I never wanted to invite anyone over or have any parties :(.
