Note: This review is based on an experience from a couple years ago. Bottom Line: Semi-Decent Product, Clean Shop, Slightly Disorganized Overview: Wolf’s Flower Shop has been in business many years. As long as I have been in Affton(forever), Wolf’s has been planted on the corner of Gravois and Mackenzie. Given their heritage, I expected nothing less than great service. Experience: I am not typically someone who buys flowers, however, I noticed their LED sign advertised their new Facebook page and a Groupon offer. I decided to purchase the Groupon given the fact that they were a local business and perhaps sometime in the future I would need a floral arrangement. Well, sadly, I did have need for an arrangement for a funeral. I visited the store on a Saturday morning and the store was well-staffed and I was served quickly. However, when I asked to see some sort of catalog of the arrangements they offer for a funeral, it took a while for them to lay a hand on it. After waiting, I thumbed through the catalog. Wow. It looked like there was only one arrangement that I could purchase with my Groupon($ 50). The arrangement included only one type of flower. When I told the lady waiting on me I wanted that arrangement, she replied, that flower is not doing very good. «I will have to check if we have any available to use.» When she came back after checking, she indicated that they should have enough for the arrangement. In retrospect, I do not recall if I asked if there were other arrangements that I could purchase with my Groupon. Maybe I did, maybe I did not. After seeing the arrangement, I was mostly pleased with the outcome. Without the Groupon discount, I would second guess spending that much next time and would be inclined to check other options. Summary: I would walk in to Wolf’s again, hoping for a much better experience. As far as doing business with them, it would likely take some shopping around given what I thought was a high cost for their arrangements. I will admit, though, I am not very experienced with the«flower market». Please take my opinion of their pricing with a grain of salt.

I ordered online this week for a funeral arrangement because of the close proximity of Wolf’s to the funeral home. I would not be able to attend the services. After placing the order, I read a review about someone else’s order not bring as described on the internet, so I became concerned as well. I called the shop and I believe I spoke with Sue. We discussed the types of flowers they had in stock and I was able to ask for specific flowers and colors. When we finished Sue offered to txt me a photo of the arrangement which she did. I was very pleased. My family in St Louis told me the arrangement was beautiful. Thank you Wolf’s!

They did the flowers for my wedding in 2008 and we have used them several times for other events. Very friendly in-store help, but a bit of an issue getting somebody on the phone– I guess they are super busy… As far as our wedding flowers were concerned, they turned out gorgeous. I loved them so much, that I had my bouquet freeze-dried and have it hanging on my wall. My only complaint was that when they delivered them to my venue, they did not find a member of the bridal party, they just left them in the lobby area.
