History

Established in 1998.

Craftsman’s Choice Inc was formed in 1998 by two independent siding & window installers, Ben Juncker and Matt Enfield. We operated as a four person crew back in those years and quickly built a solid reputation of quality and reliability.

As fiber cement siding came into the market some of the major builders and remodelers came to us for expert installation of the new product, James Hardie siding. We then went on to become a James Hardie preferred remodeler in 2000.

Our goal is to remain the company that homeowners rely on to provide skilled installations using quality materials. We also want Craftsman’s Choice Inc to continue being the company known for solidly standing behind our workmanship and providing smooth remodeling experiences. We will accomplish this through continual training about new techniques and products while also focusing on what we can do to improve the overall customer experience.

Business Owner

Matt Enfield and I started Craftsman’s Choice Inc. in January, 1998. Before that we had been working as independent sub-​contractors for some of the major remodelers of the time.

We thought we could do better job so we started Craftsman’s Choice exteriors. I am proud to say that according to 3^rd party consumer reports the Craftsman’s Choice has the most satisfied customers in the business!

A funny story about the humble start of CCI…

In the beginning, Matt and I shared a truck, our only truck, the work truck. We named her the «Dreamweaver» after that old Gary Wright song that we heard while stuck in traffic one hot summer day.

The Dreamweaver wasn’t much to look at, it was a rusty 1969 red & white Ford F-​100. The heater barely worked and it didnt have any a/​c, but it always got the job done for us. We loved that old truck! We’ve come along way since those «Dream Weaver days» but we will never forget the humble beginning of Craftsman’s Choice Inc.
