Blind Pass Resort

This place is just unbelievable. I don’t even know where to begin. The manager Krizstina seemed really nice but the rest of the staff was just terrible at their jobs. I come in to a kind of dirty room. Almost NO available power outlets. The internet was the worst. The bathroom had black mold. The floor was not swept. There was an envelope telling me to tip the housekeeping. Beds were super uncomfortable. The A/​C seemed to have issues because it would cut on and off but never actually cool the room, which really sucked during the heat. Parking is horrible, there is really no parking there. I probably parked near my room 50% of the time, the rest of the time I was parked on the other side of the block. The people that would stay there were loud and rude. The last night I was there I barely got any sleep because two guys were out side my room, drunk possibly fighting up until the time it sounded like they broke something, the next morning I was woken up to someone drilling in to the wall where the head of my bed was. The house keeper seemed nice, but she is completely two faced. I extended my stay but somewhere along the line the house keeper didnt know about that so she woke me up and told me I was suppose to check out that day then went to one of the office workers and told him we screamed at her. So we got kicked out for no reason. It was terrible. I tried giving this place a chance even if everything in the room was outdated and barely worked, plus the black mold, but the cleaning lady was the last straw. I’m not mad I got kicked out, just mad for their «reasons» of kicking me out. Needless to say, I didnt tip the house keeper, and for once in my life I didnt clean my own hotel room before leaving because I was only given 30 mins to pack every thing and leave. This place is just a nightmare. Don’t waste your money here. It’s not worth the stress. And watch out for the black mold, because I don’t know if it’s my allergies, but since staying there I feel very sick, headaches daily and I felt drained of my energy staying there. Even the day I got kicked out I could barely talk, my head, chest, and throat hurt, it was just miserable.

Stayed here the month of February. It has new owners that have a lot of work ahead of them. It is an older property so it does need refurbished. The photos are a bit deceiving on their website. My issue though was with cleanliness! At the time we were there it appeared there was only one actual housekeeper. The property manager and the maintenance man were also cleaning rooms. I have to say they are a definite asset to this property, very hard and helpful employees. Be aware too that it sits on a very busy, loud 4 lane road so the constant road noise is very irritating. We could hear most conversations and things we didn’t want to hear in the rooms near us so there is no sound proofing.
Bring your own cleaning supplies and earplugs would be my suggestion :(

Last minute trip and found this great little boutique resort. Close to beach, kept very clean, and staff super nice

Not sure where to begin but the wife & I stayed here for 1 month. We won’t be back! 1^st I will say that Christina was great and works her tail off! Dennis is also a hard worker and very responsive but that is the best this place has to offer! This place needs lots of work! The vents are dirty and the return air vent is caked over with dust! About ¹⁄₃ of electrical outlets & switches are jacked up! The stove didn’t work properly so we went out and bought an electric skillet. The shower in the main bathroom is clogged and water barely comes out & the valve has been improperly installed… no hot water is possible from the shower head! In the other bathroom the shower head was installed about 4 ft from the bottom of the tub! The sofa is old and broken down and the most uncomfortable piece of furniture I’ve ever sat on! If you’re expecting HD TV… you won’t see it here! The TV in the bedroom has a screen view that we used to have when rabbit ear antennas were in use. Conversations with other guest indicated that we were actually better off than most. Other guest had no working air conditioning or a heater. One had a refrigerator that didn’t work. The other issue we had that I’m not sure what the resort can do anything about is the road noise! This resort is just about 30 ft from a busy road! If you’re looking for a peaceful, restful stop… keep looking!

It’s a good price. The rooms are clean. But the tv is oddly placed and there is no tv in the bedroom. My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was raining. Wanted to stay in bed and watch movies. Not so much. The couch is outdated and uncomfortable. Wish we would have found a more expensive place.

Highly Recommend this place! The rooms were very quaint and very clean. The lady at the front desk was very nice and accommodating to any needs we had. Very affordable and welcoming. The pool area is also really nice. Just a short ride to downtown St. Petersburg where there is several strips of bars and restaurants. Only a mile or so from Treasure Island beach which is gorgeous!

Great clean small little motel. Staff was ridiculously friendly and attentive (Nicole was awesome!!). This place is within walking distance to great local bars and restaurants!

We have stayed at this resort many times… as many as 5 years through different mgmt for Father’s day weekend. This year for Father’s Day weekend we had our usual room by the pool, but we were surrounded by one family who occupied 3 rooms with a total of 15 people. They stole my child’s pool toys, were rude and dominated the pool the entire time. The gal in the office offered to move us and we reluctantly agreed to move to the building away from the pool. As we moved our belongings the family taunted us singing America, America! Bye Bye… I felt bullied and decided to just leave. We went home and my husband went back in the morning to pick up belongings we had left and talked to Brian «The Manager» who agreed to credit us back for the 2 nights we paid for, but didn’t stay. I called today and he recanted by stating he gave us a 2 night room credit on our next stay. We will NEVER be back!

Wow, where do I start? To put it simply, this hotel was the worse!!! As soon as we arrived to check in, the host advised that are room was given to somebody else. Keep in mind, we had booked months in advanced. My family and I were so disappointed. Another couple behind us had the same issue. I would have stayed at another hotel, but all the other ones were booked or wanted to charge over $ 300 a night. After staying one night in a smaller room then what we had originally booked, we finally moved to a bigger room. My family and I finally had some sign of relief. BOY was I wrong! This new room had a number of issues. The toilet would constantly run/​not flush, the A/​C would not work periodically, some of the furniture was damaged, and there is no house keeping. We complained to the hotel staff about these issues and instead of them trying to help, they only became argumentative. Save your money and book somewhere else.

The place is cute. The rate was cheaper than a lot of others. We came during spring break so a busy time. We booked a few months in advance but when we arrived we were told we had to take a king and a roll a way bc they didn’t have 2 queens available and that’s what we booked. The next day we were moved to pool side w 2 queens. We were happy but the rooms need work. The hinge was broke on the amour. The toilet ran. The air conditioner made noise at times. The sink drained slow. There wasn’t any house keeping. I think they just clean when you check out. We had to take dirty towels to the office for new ones. I like the place but there definitely needs to be some maintenance and upkeep and more service.

Fine for the night (depending on your standards), but not much more. One thing to note… this motel is not on the beach. The pictures I’ve seen on various sites are a little misleading about this.
From my understanding, the «resort» is under new management that is trying to clean up its customer service image. The staff seemed pretty friendly. While our room wasn’t ready for check-​in, the staff recommended a good restaurant we could go to while we waited. Late check out is also available up until 5PM the next day as long as no one is due into your room.
Parking for the resort is interesting. A couple of spots in front of each set of units and then more on the side. However, it seems like there are not enough spots for each guest room.
When we checked into the room, one of the blinds in our room was broken, making it easy for someone to be able to see inside even with the blinds closed. I decided to throw a towel over this opening while we changed. To my surprise, the «fresh» towel was soaking wet. When we asked about getting a replacement, the staff joked hopefully the replacement towel had made it to the dryer.
Some of our drawers were coming loose, causing the fronts to spin when you opened them. There are some dishes, however, only two glasses… one juice glass and a coffee mug for two people. There’s also an ice machine, but no ice bucket. We used the one and only bowl for this.
The pool area looked nice. But once we got into the pool, we noticed cigarettes and other garbage floating around. If your rooms are around the pool, you will hear people chattering outside. It’s not super loud, but something to keep in mind. Luckily the waterfall in the pool helps drown out the noise a little.

Just come back from vacation in Florida, we stayed at Blind Pass Resort. Have only positive thoughts about this place! Really nice pool area, housekeepers are attentive. Thank you, guys!

Beware… think twice about staying at this hotel! They gave our reservation to another individual and were unapologetic. We had to stay in another part of Florida for two days until our room was available which was totally unacceptable.

Update: Make sure you hold on to everything. The cleaning ladies steal!

My husband and I stay here when we want an inexpensive place to stay. We love this place because it’s always clean and located close to the areas we like to hang out. The pool is great and the hotel is not noisy at night which is a huge plus! Their sister restaurant is not great, couldn’t bother with it, there’s so many more to choose from.
