History

Established in 2004.

After competing on the windsurfing team at Eckerd College, teaching windsurfing on Florida’s east coast during summers off, and competing in the Olympic Trials; Britt Viehman decided a desk job wasn’t for him and started North Beach Windsurfing. He is a certified windsurfing instructor and a certified instructor trainer (meaning he teaches other instructors how to teach) and has spent time coaching the US Youth Windsurfing Development Team as well as coaching several windsurfing Olympians.

Several years ago, he was joined by Karen Marriott who has decades of experience windsurfing, racing, and working in all facets of the windsurfing industry. Together, they can get you on the water, having a great time on the gear that is perfect for you!
