Sherwin-Williams Paint Store

Absolutely terrible store does not come through with anything that they order do not work with them. Took a day off from work had a painter scheduled I had to reschedule everything.

This Sherwin Williams store is a great addition to St Pete Beach as the nearest ‘big box’ home improvement store is a solid 25+ minutes away in traffic. It just opened in fall of 2014, is in an excellent location right in the middle of the city near city hall and is very well stocked with anything you could need for a painting project. In addition to paint and paint supplies, there are numerous books of wallpaper options SW also sells.
Now, regarding the staff, unfortunately they’re still coming up to speed on the product line, so I don’t believe they came from another store. For example, my wife asked if there were any paint options that had some sparkle to them; we were confidently told no so we believe it. We kept browsing the store though and what do you know, there is a display for the «Faux Impressions» line of products, which, you guessed it, includes an ingredient that makes it sparkle, or as SW describes it, «Glistening flecks are revealed as your eye follows light reflecting across the surface.» So they do indeed have exactly what the sales person told us they didn’t.
In any case, I’m sure they’ll get better with time as the store had only been open for a month or so at the time of our visit.
