St Pete Segway Tours – Magic Carpet Glide

Such BIG FUN! We finished a tour a short while ago and had two hours of being a kid again. Smiles all the way around. Our guide, Tom, was fun and courteous and gave just the right balance of guidance and freedom. Focus definitely on the adventuresomeness and fun, not so much of a historical tour, although there was some of that.
We would definitely do this again! Not only will we do this again, but potentially in other contexts than a date or fun day out and about, could do a birthday party, or corporate event as an icebreaker.
Was able to go from «what the heck do I do with a Segway, do I actually stand on that!?» to «quite comfortable» in just 10 minutes.
The combination of the breeze in our hair, some of the beautiful gardens we rode through, seeing dolphins in the bay and other wildlife, and the friendliness associated with saying hi to so many people that we rode past, and their curious and sometimes delighted reply, made for an overall fun sense of connectedness about the whole experience.
