Taps and Tequila II

Worst place in all of St.Pete. Terrible everything. Closed an hour and a half before their sign said they closed. Manager should be let go. Everyone should be let go. Can’t wait to see what the replacement of this place will be.

Love this place. You come here once and leave as family. Killer wings, specials, and soups to die for. I basically watched the entire Australian open at Taps. The mashed potatoes are amazing!!!

Well, I’m in the restaurant more than 3 times a week, usually in and out, get food and drink, and take it to my apartment. But this night in particular, my boyfriend was visiting and wanted to dance, soon as we stepped outside to smoke, no sooner, she cut off the music I payed into the jukebox. Had she said or asked if it was ok, it would of been no problem, this lady didn’t even care, made feel, like an unappreciated patron, that no longer feels welcome in the establishment! THANKS JENNIFER! I’ll make sure to take my business elsewhere from now on!

Met some people there before going to the Rays game. We planned to save some money on drinking beers outside of Tropicana and we didn’t want to deal with Ferg’s chaos. The place is spacious. There was only our group and a few people at the bar. I didn’t read the reviews before coming there. I ordered South of the boarder burger, my husband got their Swiss and mushroom burger, and a friend ordered guacamole. The burgers were «stuffed burgers». Tomatoes and cheese were inside my patty. It was thick and didn’t cover the whole bun. It came with not just a leaf of lettuce, but chunks, one round slice of pickle, tomato slice with 2 rings of red onion, and slices of avocado. It was hard to eat. It fell apart right away. The meat was overcooked. Very tasteless. My husband said he didn’t notice any mushrooms in his burgers. His was overcooked as well. Guacamole was very garlicky. Needed some lime juice or something to add flavor. My fat tire was $ 5. Not sure what «cheap drinks» people mention (read the reviews today), but I don’t drink miller light and that’s the only one they had for «cheap.»

I’ve wanted to come here for awhile and I must say, it’s not what I expected. The bartender wasn’t attentive and the food sucked, but the beer was cheap and they had plenty of TVs to watch the NBA finals. Choose your battles.

The pulled pork nachos were delicious and the music was really nice. I wouldn’t drive out of my way for this place but its definitely not terrible. A little hard to find via apple maps but a nice place to grab some drinks or cheap eats.

Fun place! Small business that delivers great food to the building. Great staff and quick service. Really fun spot for enjoying a beer after a baseball game or night on the town. Wings. Are. Awesome!!! Monday they’re 50 cents and $ 1 tacos on Thursday paired with $ 3 margaritas.

Good food. Cheap beers. Big tvs. Good people and great bartenders what more could you ask for ?? We will definitely be back

Good place for cheap beers. $ 2 millers. Never have had any good food from here BESIDES wings. Terrible infused tequilas.
So so place. I just wish they would quit with the Saturday DJs and terrible Christmas lights on our building or move out.

I enjoy coming to this particular bar for several reasons. The bar tender and wait staff are awesome, and they are directly across from the rays stadium. The menu here is not typical bar food and it is delicious. I had the potato soup this visit. It was good (they held back the bacon):). Then I had the buffalo chicken dip. That was excellent. Their menu has fish and beef on it also. Their salads are unique. One is a watermelon mint salad which gets high reviews. On Saturdays they have pool parties and special events on holidays like st. Patricks day. I would highly recommend taps over the other bar located across from the rays stadium if you want a good menu.

I have no idea why anyone would come here.

A good friend of mine lives in the apartment complex that this restaurant is located. Taps and Tequila 2 has really good pizza. The rest of the menu is so so. Avoid the burgers! (hence the 3 stars) Taps makes their own infused tequilas that really good. The selection of draft beer is decent. I would recommend this place for a get together with friends before heading out into the night life of down town St Pete. Taps and Tequila is conveniently located next to Tropicana Field (Home to the Tampa Bay Rays).

I do not like this place at all. I live in the Urban Style Flats building so I was very excited to have a restaurant just below me! I’ve been there 3 times now and have been disappointed each time. While their waitresses and bartenders are always nice and attentive, their food is just not good. My first visit, I ordered fries which came out covered in ranching seasoning that was way too salty. The second visit, I got a Sloppy Joe which was just OK, nice sauce but barely any flavor. And my third and final visit, I ordered the Buffalo Mozzarella which was extremely salty and tasted more like Butter Mozzarella than Buffalo Mozzarella. My boyfriend ordered a burger WITH BACON and WITHOUT PICKLES! The burger came with pickles and no bacon. It was large but bland. We will not be returning to this restaurant. The convenience is not worth the sub par food.
