When I moved to Fort Bend County in the early ’70’s the Mexican restaurants in the county were momma/poppa establishments wherein the food and service was very personal; basic Mex/Tex and as if you were eating in their home. Eduardo’s is a throw-back to that era and they do a great job with the food we all love here in Texas without compromising the quality and service. Everything on the menu is great and well crafted. Forget all the gentrified chain-restaurants in the area. This food and service is very personal and true to our Texas roots.

Probably one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the area. They serve their salsa cold which is a huge plus for me as most places around here serve theirs hot. The prices for the servings you get is fantastic and I haven’t had a glass of bad sweet tea yet. Get the tamale lunch plate. It looks like a hole in the wall but well worth the visit.

Came here with my coworker for lunch since we work about 5 minutes away from this place and it was great! We came during lunch hour and it was super busy! They had fast service and my chicken flautas tasted great.

First time here. Checked it out because of the great reviews here on Unilocal.Over all the food was pretty good. Queso was yummy! One of the most important things in my book! Salsa was a little off. Not sure why, but still pretty edible. I had cheese enchiladas, which had a little more chili powder than I prefer. My Husband liked it, so, it’s just my personal issue! Took one star off simply because it took a while to process our check and because the waitress took a while before asking to refill our drinks. Would eat here again!

First and foremost, I like how I live really close to this place. Secondly, chips and queso is the way to my heart, and Eduardo’s has a special place in it, especially when it’s to-go! More chips and more cheese than what you’d usually get when you dine-in. Last, but not least, their beef and chicken quesadillas. Enough said.

BESTMEXICANFOODONTHEAREA. We love it there! Great food, excellent service. Everything is fresh, good portions and it is more mex than tex food. We have compared with other places and we always go back. Our family has been a regular for many years and we’re done trying out other places, Eduardo’s is not a fancy place in a fancy area, but the good food makes up for all that. Viva Eduardo’s!

We decided to try mrs. bod based on the recommendation of a friend. Located in a strip shopping center it is nothing fancy. The atmosphere inside is also plain but comfortable and quite clean but the food is definitely worth the trip. My wife ordered the Chicken mole which was very delicious. Both the flour and corn tortillas were thin and not greasy and very tasty. The menu had plenty of excellent selections from which to choose and very authentic Mexican style. Beyond the excellent food we completely enjoyed the waitstaff. They were very knowledgeable on the menu and even offered samples of different sauces which we ended up purchasing and taking home. We already have our eyes on several other menu items that we need to try so we will definitely be back.

Love this place for lunch. Nothing fancy as it is in the old, long gone Kroger strip center, but the food is top notch. Prices are very reasonable and the salsa is real Mexican with carrots in it and the chips are thick and yellow. I usually get the tamale lunch and I am stuffed when I leave there. It is great. Servers are male and they are very attentive and fast by picking up the orders outside the grill at the left front. The couple that runs it are very nice and the husband always comes up to our table to chat a bit and thanks us for coming. Rice and beans are first rate, and the portions are big in this place. You folks will like it.

I was really craving chips and salsa and fajitas. This place definitely satisfied that! The salsa was good, although more liquidy than I prefer. It has a nice kick to it. We ordered the frozen house margarita, which was very strong. but after letting it melt a bit, it was a little better. We ordered a bacon, potato, and egg breakfast taco. It comes with 2 tortillas, making it perfect for a taste test and to share! I enjoyed the taco a lot. The only thing I wish is for the potatoes to be cut smaller, but that’s just being nit picky. We also ordered Elly’s plate which comes with some enchiladas and a crispy taco. I wasn’t too impressed with this. It comes with a lot of food, but I would definitely pass on this next time. We also ordered fajitas mixed with chicken and beef. The flavor was on point! The sides were also good. I replaced the beans with fries, which were surprisingly crispy(random for a Mexican restaurant but glad they had it). The service was great! The waiters were attentive and very sweet. I was impressed with their mannerism. Overall, I would rate this place a 3.5. The food is decent and workers are nice. They weren’t overly busy on a Sunday afternoon and their prices are cheap. We got all of this for ~$ 27! I would definitely come back to try some other breakfast tacos and possibly a different enchilada plate.

Eduardo’s is definitely one of the top mexican restaurants in the Stafford area. Their prices are great, food was tasty and service was excellent. I came with my colleagues and we are now putting this restaurant on our weekly lunch rotation. We started with the regular salsa and then I requested the«hot» salsa and they brought it out complimentary. The hot is a smoother sauce and I found it to be neither hot, nor chunky… and kinda boring. From now on, I’ll stick to the regular salsa which has a fresher taste. I ordered the two crispy taco plate, one of the many lunch selections for only $ 5.50. Mine came with well seasoned ground beef, crispy taco shells that were probably store bought, homemade refried beans and rice that was just ok. Taste was great, my only complaint was that the beef was too watery and caused both taco shells to become soggy and break… ewwww! My colleague’s two dishes looked really great as they both ordered items with their homemade flour tortillas, especially the fajita chicken plate which came with 2 tortillas and grilled peppers and onions. Next time I’ll try the fajita beef and see how they rank among houston finest tex mex joints. Their lunch fajitas, beef or chicken, at $ 7.95 is about as cheap as you will find in Houston.

This has remained my favorite Mexican restaurant over the years. It’s so good that when I’m not feeling well, I pick up a large order of their Sopa de Pollo to take home. It’s so homemade, so filled with chicken, vegetables, and yummy broth, I feel better right away. Just like Mom(well, really Dad) used to make!

Food is always great! Breakfast is plentiful for the price! Service is outstanding! One of the biggest reasons why I come back! If you like HOT salsa, order their Eduardo’s hot salsa. It’s an additional charge, but OHSO worth it!!!

I have been coming here since it was a four table hole in the wall on Dairy Ashford. Food has always been great, and prices have always been reasonable. The menu is quite unique with dishes named after local neighborhoods, very cool. Came here as a group from work once and they gave us a couple of platters of bean cheese nachos on the house. You can tell they aim to take care of customers. I’ve been to many Tex Mex restaurants and this has always been my go to place.

My family and I have now voted this our favorite Mexican restaurant! The staff is always very polite and attentive and it’s unbelievable how quick they can be with getting our orders to us(but they are not pushy to get us to leave unlike some other restaurants you can come across). We visit this place at least once a month and plan to continue to since the service is great, food is consistently yummy, and the prices are AWESOME. Keep up the good work!

Totally decent place. We weren’t blown away like other reviewers, but the place was ok. We went on a Friday evening and it was busy! Definitely not a quiet place and it was filled with lots of families. The service was good. The queso was a little thin but it was good. One person had a peach margarita and enjoyed it. She mentioned that she had a frozen drink in the past at Eduardo’s and it was very alcoholic/strong, so they don’t do wimpy pours here. My flautas were good. My husband’s enchiladas were good but spicy which was a surprise since he had the verdes sauce. The burrito here is large enough to feed a small village and is packed with the full range of Mexican food items. Everything was served piping hot which was great. We were satisfied with our dinner and for $ 57 it wasn’t a bad deal(4 adult meals, 1 alcoholic drink and queso). The only thing I really didn’t like was the seating. We sat in a booth and it was extremely uncomfortable. The booths are very old and are physically breaking down. Our booth seat was high in the front and low in the back so you sat with your legs dangling above the floor and your butt stuck farther down. I felt like I was in an ejector seat. If we had been alone, my husband and I would have moved, but my dad was settled so we endured. I hope they can change out the seating to something less contorting. I’d go back and sit at a table. Definitely a decent meal.

I’ve been going here for as long I can remember. Let’s just say that they know my menudo order by heart. They always have great food and great service so I’m always glad to go there for some good hangover food! It is under new ownership due to the original owners wanting to retire. They say they haven’t hired any new kitchen staff, but it tastes like they have. It might just be that my anxiety of the restaurant going to a new owner makes me more critical of the food there. Overall, good experience.
