Our wedding was an absolutely wonderful experience and it could not have been more memorable. We feel that without the full planning package and more importantly, without Amy, we would not have had the wedding we did. Amy was able to calm my nerves, keep me in check, and listen to my concerns without hesitation. She made our wedding special and put us in front of the right vendors to meet our needs. We are so thankful we chose to work with Lion and Lamb and we highly recommend Amy for anyone’s event — she is professional, organized, responsive, and fun! I miss my daily ‘Amy-​mail’ and thank her from the bottom of my heart for all her hard work, friendship, and commitment to creating the best event for us!

Hiring Sobi and Amy from Lion and Lamb was the best money spent on the wedding! For the day of, I only concerned myself with relaxing and looking pretty. Sobi took care of the rest! She executed my vision perfectly from working with the hotel, décor, caterers, photographer, videography, and more. She has excellent working relationships with multiple vendors which allows for better pricing and accountability. I learned quickly that without someone to organize and execute your vision, all the money spent on everything else is wasted.
Being Pakistani, it’s not that common to have a wedding planner, and I have no idea why! I was big on having an on time, very organized, non hectic wedding. Pretty much unlike any other desi wedding. Sobi made this happen. She kept to the schedule, politely informed guests to take their seats (and stay in them!), and worked with the vendors to make sure things went perfectly. She also speaks Urdu fluently, which helps with the aunties and uncles. My parents and family loved having them! I felt like Amy and Sobi where my eyes and ears while I was on stage, helpless to control things. They always came through, they even made sure we ate and had plenty of diet coke :). I was hesitant to hire a planner at first, but I’m so glad I went with Sobi! You won’t be sorry!

I loved Sobi!!! Unfortunately majority of my stressful tasks were already done before I found her so I only needed limited services… if any at all. But she was great with whatever I asked and has a lot of knowledge. Although her vendor suggestions seemed limited.

Choosing Sobi for our wedding/​reception day of coordination was one of the best decisions we made. She was very professional and accommodating down to the last minute. There are so many details that she took care of for our wedding and reception, and the events would not have gone as smoothly had she not been there. Most importantly, she delivered on everything she said she was going to do. Let me repeat that… she did EVERYTHING she said she was going to do. I cannot emphasize enough how important that is for a successful event, not to mention that it really reduced our stress level the week of the event!
We met with Sobi prior to the event date to go over everything that would need to be done during the events, and she was informative about what to consider and worked with us to figure out how to make everything run on time and the way we wanted. She was very sweet and easy to work with, not to mention organized and listened to what we wanted. She made sure to ask questions so she could understand the type of wedding/​reception we wanted (and not necessarily what would be ‘easiest’ for her to handle). She also made sure she got all the information she would need for that day (including setup diagrams, vendor contact info, schedules, etc). She even followed up with any questions she had after reviewing everything we had given her. She confirmed all of our vendors for the day, and took care coordinating all of the details (and believe me, there were many of those) and setup of the venues. She also made sure we kept to our timeline during the reception, which was amazing (and awesome) considering we had about 185 people at the event to handle. During the event, Sobi was calm and very organized. Some of our guests even commented that she was very sweet and was doing a great job handling everything.
Sobi was invaluable to us with all the logistics she took care of… and she was the biggest reason we were able to relax on our wedding day! She handled everything that day and we didn’t have to worry about ANYTHING!
We highly recommend Sobi for any event coordination!
