Many of our clients have transitioned to us from their current providor (often themselves out of their home) with an overall per order cost SAVINGS. This occurs because we pass to our clients the savings that our large volume shipped per month affords with carriers such as Fedex and UPS.

History

Established in 2009.

Following an international career in Shipping and Logistics with one of the largest container shipping companies in the world, Steve Thomson, started Sweetwater Logistics. Riding the increase in e-​commerce sales growth, the fulfillment services market was dominated by Warehouses trying to offer logistics services in an effort to fill their excessive capacity. This was evident in the markets prevelance for monthly ‘minimum’ charges. These charges made use of a fulfillment service far too expensive for entrepreneurs that were just starting out. Recognizing this opportunity Sweetwater Logistics was created to provide fulfillment services and logistics expertise to entrepreneurs and small business owners. Sweetwater Logistics is a fulfillment service and logistics expertise company that happens to have some space.

Steve T.

Business Owner

Prior to starting his own company, Steve was responsible for creating profitable operation strategies for an international shipping company. Steve is known for his unique ability to spot unidentified opportunities and create growth strategies around them. Having spent most of his career in overseas offices he has a unique perspective on the opportunities that international markets can have on small businesses. He also has the experience to support small businesses that want to leverage these markets.

His vision for Sweetwater Logistics is to be the supporting foundation for entrepreneurs to build and grow their companies.

His intention is to build an organization that is strategically aligned with its clients. The drivers of his business are to drive as many orders through as small a ‘footprint’ as possible with the most cost effective shipping method and packaging possible. While passing the savings and efficiencies directly to his clients.
