WOW. The other great reviews were right! Stallion Springs may be a little small and out of the way, but if you’re wondering where to eat — YOU EAT HERE! I think this may have been one of the best, if not *the* best, burgers I’ve ever eaten and the fries were very good too (second only to, believe it or not, the National Zoo in Washington, D.C.). The service was good — the server kept my water glass filled (my most important thing in a server) and checked on me the right amount — a couple times, but not ignoring me or hovering — not too much either way. The place was clean and I like the look and feel of it. Lighting was pleasant and the décor was nice. I had the… I think it was called a Stinky Burger. YUM YUM YUM!!! :)

Great food, great atmosphere, great service! A definite go to Tehachapi visiters! The food is always cooked to perfection, and if there’s ever a mistake or something you don’t like the staff and owners are great about getting it changed out for you!

We went for the first time tonight and loved it. The service was fast and our server was extremely friendly. She checked in with us several times to see if everything was to our liking. The Mediterranean chicken sandwich was flavorful and the chicken breast was juicy and not at all overcooked, which is easy to do with chicken breast. We had the dark chocolate salted caramel pie, which was to-​die-​for good. I’m looking forward to trying other things in the menu. We will definitely be back!

Great hometown bar and grill Always great service and food. Got to love it…

Decided to have dinner here again. I was not disappointed. I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp. It was really good and had great flavor. The service was excellent.

On vacation in this beautiful area and had lunch here per recommendation of the nice lady who works at a clothing boutique in downtown Tehachapi — the food was surprisingly tasty, thanks! This is a simple but cool local diner/​sports bar with friendly and timely service. Came in for lunch and had a hamburger w/​cheese special with a drink and tots, $ 9. Wasn’t expecting much but it was actually VERY good — could see the grill marks on the patty and taste the char in every bite. Really nice bun — soft and chewy. Love that they have an option for tater tots though they were a little over done. Also ordered the PB and chocolate banana cream pie, $ 4.95. 2 layers of dense banana cream, chocolate and PB mixture in center, set in a graham crust shell. Yummy! Stallion Springs is such a lovely getaway from the traffic, noise, and smog of LA. and now I found a new eatery to visit when I come back. Thanks, Pdubs!
*Menu will run you $ 11+ for burgers and a side, etc. They have daily specials and a happy hour as well.
*They accept 10% discount if you’re staying at the nearby resort and 3% if you use cash, which I’ve seen offered at other local eateries.

Best burgers in town! Service is always great! Good beer selection. Also, has a charming vibe.

Stopped in for dinner, comfortable large dining room and small bar. Their special for Wednesday was wood fired pizza. Tasted Awesome, only bad thing is its too small.
Service was fast and friendly.

I always enjoy the food and the staff is friendly and accommodating. So nice to have a neighborhood grille and bar with such high standards so conveniently located.

P Dubs fell short of a recommendation from a friend. I was unimpressed from virtually every facet of this establishment from the second we walked in. The diet soda and regular soda had no carbonation and tasted terrible. Manager could not fix this. The chicken wings were above average. The «home smoked» tri-​tip sandwich was nothing to brag about as it was over-​cooked, tough and uneventful. I will not go back.

We have been here several times and never had a negative experience. Whether it’s date night or with the kids, we have had great experiences. The food is always awesome. We have tried a variety of items off the menu, the stinky onion burger was amazing! The onion rings are always perfect. Last night I decided to go with the panko Parmesan crusted chicken which has me hooked. I feel like there is no need to go anywhere else, this place has it all. Now, I saved the best for last. Part of me is selfish and doesn’t really want to alert the world about this because I fear the moment when I go to order the dark chocolate salted caramel pie and the waitress says the dreaded words «I’m sorry we are out of that pie.» But it’s too good to keep to myself. When it’s finally delivered to my table and I take that first bite I feel like Meg Ryan in Harry Met Sally-it’s that good.

Me & my husband’s favorite restaurant anywhere. Never had a bad meal here. Excellent service and always delicious specials to mix up from the already delicious regular menu selections.

Awesome seats and the best burgers. The seasoning on the fries made them perfect. Definitely not the last time we’ll be there.

Came to P Dubs Grill for Sunday breakfast. I gave this Restuarant three stars because of the menus and the waitress’s attire… I would have given it lower stars if it wasn’t for how friendly and attentive the waitress was.
When we were given our menus on clip boards one of the menus had food splattered all over it. The waitresses apron and zipped up hoodie was stained with grease and extremely dirty. Both of these views made me weary and concerned that the food was going to have a hair in it or the plates would be dirty. The food was ok and the plates were clean. The waitress was very friendly, attentive and quick to refill our drinks. I appreciated her friendly demeanor and attentiveness to serving.

Best burger I’ve had in a long time! And the chocolate peanut butter banana cream pie was the best dessert I’ve ever had!

I was in for breakfast and ordered the French toast with sausage. The sausage was particularly excellent. Like a Bratwurst from my time in Germany. I haven’t found that anywhere else in town.

The hotel we were staying did not have CBS in HD, so I looked for a nearby sports bar with NFL Sunday ticket.
P Dubs came thru.
Yes its out in the middle of nowhere, but the food was decent and they had personal TV screens at the end of the table at 2 booths.
Definitely try it again next time I am in the area

Seeing that I live in Bear Valley Springs, Stallion Springs is closer for me then most.
This was a breath of fresh air for Tehachapi area dining. Had me a burger, fries, and light beer. The perfect test. The burger was surprisingly good. It was the standard tavern style, but good flavor. On my personal burger scale I give it a 6.5 out of 10 (I am pretty harsh on burgers). Fries were good and seasoned, the Coors light was, well… Coors light. The wife and kids enjoyed their food as well.
Service was good, and the waitress was nice. The place was clean.
I will go again, and I would say it was a worth the drive for us, seeing that you really can find a place with good pub style food around here.

Ahhhhmazing Tip Dip aka Tri Tip Sandwich fresh off the smoker! This gem of sandwich was so flipping good the smokey after bite lasted a good few minutes. Topped with a side of fresh au-​jus drippings I was in a pleasant food coma! Great way to spend a relaxing Sunday. Environment is up beat with several HD screens showcasing daily sports events and smaller tables have private screens where kids or families can view custom channels. HIGHLY recommend P-​Dubs for anyone craving an assortment of American Cuisine and plentiful servings topped with tastey craft beer. Staff efficient and friendly.
BREAKFAST NOW: Yummy way to kick off laid back Sunday. My fave’s eggs bene, chicken fried steak, waffles, and breakfast burrito and so much more to choose from. Nice to be greeted at 7 AM by the owner’s and a friendly staff. Finally I can walk down street in Stallion Springs to eat breakfast!!!
